1. Steve Logan - nobody did more with less
2. Eric Hicks
3. Kenyon Martin
4. Nick Van Exel
5. Melvin Levett

I'm 32 so it would be tough for the Big O to be one of my favorites. I'm sure he would've been if I saw him play live or on TV though.

Kenyon
Roger McClendon
Cedric Glover
Lavertis Robinson ( I know I botched the spelling)
Van Exel

Wow 5 is hard, Fortson is right there, Herb Jones, Logan, Lazelle Durden, Levitt, Hicks.

If it's strictly favorites, not really related to skill level...

1. Immanuel McElroy
2. Leonard Stokes
3. Steve Logan
4. Jason Maxiell
5. Lance Stephenson

5 favorites? I'm 47 and never saw Oscar play.......so here goes......

1. Eric Hicks - made first team Big East without flashy numbers.....his reputation preceded him with BE coaches. As Rick Pitino once said "pound for pound the toughest player in the Big East".

2. Steve Logan - you can't explain why this guy was so good. Short, slow......he made himself into a great player.

3. Kenyon Martin - his performance at Depaul his senior year is on YouTube and something of amazement. One of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed. No need explaining this pick.

4. Roger McClendon - great player on bad teams. The Mario Soto of UC Basketball. Singlehandedly beat a great Louisville team one year.

5. Danny Fortsen - watched him put up 41 pts. and grab 17 rebounds in the Cincy Gardens against Xavier.

6. Nick Van Exellent - key player in the Final Four and Elite Eight runs. Probably the best PG UC has had in the past 22 years. Fearless. Simply fearless. His NBA career should surprise no one.

I meant favorite...but greatest is a good topic too. While we're on greatest, does anyone else think Logan's number should be retired? I do.
