Has Wes ever won a big road game or even a decent road game?? I want to buy in all the way but he’s got to prove. Can’t have another one of the down 10-2 in the first 4 minutes type starts we’ve seen far too oftenGoing to be tough....as Iowa St defense is top ranked. Question is....do that shots continue to go in. As I stated I do not think Wes has done much diff....so is he the coach to lead this team or is he the pitiful we coach we came to believe earlier.
Wes is here next year no matter what. I think as fans we got to accept that. So what I want is meaningful games and hope. Say we loose to Iowa st and Houston but then beat West Virginia, Baylor, and then slip vsKansas st in tight one and just miss the tourney I’d say there would be hope Wes has figured it out but I’d still call this season a failure. A win Saturday tho and I’m all the way back in with Wes haven figured it out.Question to you Rob - you seem to follow this team very close....is it better to to be 19 -:13 at the end of the regular season, and head to NIT or totally collapse? If a total collapse means getting Will Wade...maybe. But I feel Wes is here regardless. Maybe us die hard fans need to accept middle of the road Big 12, clinging to the chance of an at large bid. Or accept NIT is where the bearcats will be.

It was straight one on one all game. Jizzles turn then day days turn. In year 4 under Wes that’s all what we gotUC had to many ball hogs or one in one players. ISU will kick the ball to the open man. Jizzle and Day Day never kick it out after their penetration. Probably the most selfish players I’ve seen.

I agree. Wes has done nothing to to prove he can motivate or develop or instill any offensive or defensive identity. We will be in the same situation next year… although Wes is probably hoping Shon will be the next Lebron.Bcat....I agree. Wes has shown nothing in the 4 years that indicates he can coach and develop. When shots fall, all good. By how many stupid turnovers were there in the Iowa St game? How many no box out (Simas?). And somehow our guys just seem to get chasing on defense, getting beat leading to open shots....yet we can't seem to set a pic let alone get an open shot.
