    American Conference Tournament

    UConn lost to ECU. Now they'll likely end up 9-9 with Memphis & Tulsa. Anyone know who's got the tiebreaker?

    NCAA seeds all about $$

    Haters gonna hate. When we win - it's the kids. When we lose - it's Mick. Whatever.

    @UCF

    BJ Taylor is UCF's leading scorer and he's the one that hurt us. The loss had a lot more about how we played than how they played.

    @UCF

    Tre's advanced stats are likely better than you'd think. He's essentially tied with Jarron & KJ for steals either per 40 minutes or per 100 possessions. Also, his rebounding rate is pretty close to Gary and Kyle - and much better than Brooks. He actually leads the team in DRtg per 100...

    @UCF

    Advanced stats are only fair for Kyle on our team. He leads the team in PER, but that's not a great stat imo. Favors offense too heavily, but it still favorable for Kyle that he leads the team. However, he's 6th on the team in ORtg per 100 possessions; behind Gary, Jarron, Jacob, JJ & Troy...

    @UCF

    Neither Troy or Kyle can throw it in the ocean today. If things stay that way, it's going to be tough to come back.

    Around the Country

    I think tomorrow's game is the biggest hurdle. I think we'll handle Houston at home and I don't think UConn has enough weapons to compete. We're a lot better than UCF, but they're unique enough that they could give us problems.

    Is there room on the UC Bandwagon?

    Welcome aboard. Always room for more!

    UC v. UK

    The AAC will not be this bad every year. UConn, Temple & Memphis are generally more competitive than they've been this year. That won't fix everything, but it would help.

    UC v. UK

    That implies that he needs defending.

    UC v. UK

    I think the program is doing fine. Because of Mick or despite Mick - whichever you choose to believe.

    UC v. UK

    I actually agreed the the last post of yours that I commented on. Sorry I hurt your feelings. And your delusions of grandeur are comical.

    UC v. UK

    Second longest home winning streak in the country, but we don't have a real home court advantage. Ok. Perhaps you're suggesting it's unreal?

    Memphis

    Agree on all points.

    Memphis

    It is frustrating how we consistently lose our defensive intensity on nights when we make shots. I understand that it's human nature to ease up when you run out to s big lead, but this team has definitely shown a propensity to do that and it is frustrating to watch.

    Memphis

    I was at the game also - I just saw things a little differently. That's certainly ok.

    Memphis

    Mick didn't slow down the pace until the 6 minute mark or so to try to limit the number of remaining possessions. The majority of the comeback was a result of our complacency on defense and we stopped making shots at our end of the court.

    Memphis

    I'm a big fan. Like most freshmen post players he's too indecisive and not strong enough with the ball. However, I really like his overall effort and defense. Cronin can't say enough good things about him - he's very coachable. He'll help us this year and next. We'll need him to really...
