I have heard some rumblings that the two teams may be close to playing at Rupp next year. Anyone else heard anything about this????

There was a rumor from some UK guy that there was a potential for a 2 game deal with one at Rupp and the other in the Bahamas. I don't believe there was much truth in it...

Don't cal and mick hate each other? If so, doubt that would happen. Maybe if they never have to come here

I would go there early next year. Prob our best chance to ever win there

I can almost guarantee no powers will play us next year, even in a 3 for 1.our team is stacked and they will wait until we are rebuilding

I agree. Only way it would happen is if it was something like the guy mentioned. Where they never have to come here. No matter how good our team is going to be, it's still really hard to win on the road against top programs.

No, the only way it happens is if ESPN forces it to happen. If not, not going to happen, period.

Mick needs to man up and schedule some neutral site games. We won't have a real home court advantage anyways. Our schedule looks terrible for next season.

I've been thinking this for awhile. I go even further to say just take a 1 time road game if you can get one or 2. We are playing at NKU and we will have a good team. If there is ever a year to do it, next year is it

Why would ESPN care about Cincinnati or force UK to play us? If that's the only way this is happening, I don't see it happening

I don't think it's about manning up. I think it's about standing his ground and hope it happens. We were close to getting Michigan, We have gotten Butler, ISU, New Mexico and SDSU in the past. I imagine we get something. He did also said he would agree to play MSU in Madison Square Garden. There's not one part of me that thinks Cronin is scared to play a team on a neutral site. Just believes we should be considered for top programs to play a home and home series.

I don't know what part of town you're from but people don't give in that easy on the westside. Period.

I think UK/UC game when we played them in early 2000s was an extremely highly watched NCAA tournament game if im not mistaken. But yeah I still don't see ESPN forcing it.

I do believe something will break in the summer where we get a decent home and home series with a team.

Second longest home winning streak in the country, but we don't have a real home court advantage.

Ok.

Perhaps you're suggesting it's unreal?

Huh? I'm talking about next year when we are playing at NKU. Do you feel the need to disagree with every post I make? You realize, given I'm right 99.9999% of the time, that's a losing position to take?

Mick stated in the past that he talked to Jay Wright about scheduling a series and Wright proposed a neutral site game which Mick balked at. Time to start scheduling those types of games...

He wants good teams to come to Cincinnati.

thats great that he wants that. We all do, but he and the fans have to realize we aren't at the level where they will come here. It's the same reason we don't do a home and home with Albany or someone like that. We have to start somewhere. If it's a neutral or road just take it

I actually agreed the the last post of yours that I commented on.

Sorry I hurt your feelings.

And your delusions of grandeur are comical.

I agree on the neutral part. One because it will hopefully give us a chance to play good competition and secondly because all tournament games are on a neutral floor (unless we play UConn in Hartford again...SMH). It is good practice. We shouldn't be taking buy-road games with no neutral component or anything.

I hope Under Armor ups the ante on that event that had at MSG (sponsored by Fox Sports). This year the participants were Boston College, Auburn, Seton Hall and South Carolina. There are a lot of good UA schools like UCLA, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, etc.
