Definitely contrasting styles between the KState & Wake. I think KState makes the game ugly and wins. There's potential for the Cats and KState to be the rock fight type of game we grew accustomed to in previous years.

100% agree. We keep forgetting the step where we have to earn the benefit of the doubt. That means beating lower seeded teams and getting out of the first weekend.

If you discover that planet, I would strongly advocate to move next year's home games there.

I was manically cleaning with the nervous energy I had while watching the game. I'm always excited for a Cats win. After this one it was equal parts relief and excitement. I'm thrilled for TC & KJ to get a wins as seniors. Plus, my house is spotless.

I share your viewpoint. I would add that the encouraging thing is not just Cumberland's progress but that Mick does seem (at least last night) to be willing to live with highs and lows. Historically, I always thought he pulled some players too fast after a mistake.

Baylor, Oregon, Texas, and Purdue are all filled. Are there any other decent P5 opportunities out there for Fleck to even consider?

Too bad we missed out on him. I see the merits in going to a Big 10 job, but Purdue is a tough place to win. I'll be rooting for him against the buckeyes

I was wondering about the big preseason tournaments also. It seems like X gets into them every other year.

I think a top power conference school will bring him in as some sort of special assistant, co-coordinator, associate head coach, etc. OSU and Alabama seem to be doing this lately with wayward coaches. Another school might add to the trend by bringing Strong in.
