Macura sure looked gritty getting beat time and time again by Cumberland

How soft is the BEast if X is +7 in rebounding in their conference

30-3 on second chance points. If Bluiett and Sumner leave X is going to be in a lot of trouble next year. Gaston will be gone and hes the only big man that can play D on their team. Gates is pretty terrible. He is pretty much the same player as Quad, but he plays a lot of minutes. All Gates does is stand around the perimeter and doesnt rebound. Jones is decent on the offensive end, but his D is pretty bad. They have some good guards coming in next year, but like i said, losing Sumner and Bluiett would destroy anything they have, and make them go another year with no depth.

They have 1 big man coming in next year and he doesnt seem like anything special. We will have depth next year and a better roster. Hopefully we start taking back these games.

Omara might be their starting center next year......................

Cumberland is a great player...wish he would have come to X. I recall Cumberland getting an "an one" against Macura, but several of Cumberland's shots were against others.

UC certainly manhandled the Muskies last night in well deserved win.

Good look to the Cats for the balance of season and in the NCAA's.

Cumberland did go to X for an official, then decided he didn't want to stay

I have hard from multiple X fans that they both are definitely gone. Blewit tested waters last year and was told to trim body fat and work on shot, Sumner's family is urging him to leave as well.

If thats the case this is what they have for next year

PG: Goodin
SG:Macura(cant play D at all) Scruggs, Marshall, Harden. all freshmen so who knows what they will bring. Scruggs and Marshall are really good, but can they make up for bluiett and Sumner?
SF:Ridder(another freshmen)
PF: Gates(play him more haha, hes bad) Jones. Good on offense, cant body up the post. Ernst is a juco redshirt who has been battling injuries since he left Iowa State. Cant see him providing much
C: Omara(dont see him improving)Jones will be another freshmen who we havent heard or seen much of.

so by the looks of it, they will struggle immensely at the 4 and 5 next year. depth will be a major issue and they will be relying heavily on freshmen. But they recruit better than UC is what I keep hearing. No depth to show for it

Goodin looks pretty good. But we should be beat them again and again. We're built very well.

That's because Cumberland was blowing past Macura outside the arc allowing him to score on "others"

I'm just so, so happy for our players. That's really all I care about. Take this in, be the Big Men on Campus today. Get back to work and get ready to plow ahead through the rest of the AAC.

They were lights out from three and we are only down by 8. We definitely aren't out of it.

they get higher rated classes and players but thats why putting so much into what scout.com thinks is fools gold

I'm going to go ahead and take credit for this win. After Blueitt hit his second three of the second half, I went in my basement, changed TVs, got on the treadmill, ran a few miles and voila! Bearcats win!

I was manically cleaning with the nervous energy I had while watching the game. I'm always excited for a Cats win. After this one it was equal parts relief and excitement. I'm thrilled for TC & KJ to get a wins as seniors. Plus, my house is spotless.
