Last home game for DV and Toyloy. Anyone here going to the game?

I was present for a Nova game a few years ago, and they lost at the end. Heartbreaker. Gotta finish strong these last couple of games.

I think this is a must win. I havent used that term yet but this is it. We need this win badly. Deonta needs this win badly.

The situation is set up for us. Senior night, Highly ranked team, need a win to get yourself back into the NCAA conversation...

It is safe to say (unless you expect this team to reel off 2-3 wins in the BE tourney) that these next two games are MUST win. Nova is a must win bc it is at home. In the BE you MUST defend your home court. Let's see if we can get 13k+ in the Shoe and get it rockin for Sr night.

It won't be like it was up at Cuse on Sun. but what other college arena is? Seriously that at atmosphere was crazy for a regular season college game.

I agree that the next two are "must wins."

We sit at 16-12 (7-9). Wins against Nova and Gtown sits on the bubble at 18-12 (9-9). A game in the BET and we dance.

Impossible? No. Improbable? Yes.

I'm a fan and will root until we lose in the BET.

Go Cats!

We need this one. Senior night for a player like Deonta that has been the face of the program for 4 years.

DV's SR night is bittersweet for me. While I appreciate that he was prob the only bright spot for this program during Mick's first 3 years, this year he has been an utter disappointment.

The big games we needed to win, he was invisible or downright bad. The big shots we needed him to make, he missed. The SR leadership we needed from him was nowhere to be found. I might be being a little unfair to be putting this all on him but I really feel that a lot of the failures of this team can be traced back to his efforts.

DV is not soley responsible for this teams lackluster perfromances but he is a big reason for them. I've been saying this for weeks now......I would like to see him on the bench more often than not. We can't have 2 people on the floor who do not move well without the ball (DV and Lance) and Lance brings a lot more to the table (scoring, defense, intensity, and attitude) I'm so sick of this apathetic attitude this team has....once again I put our SR leader in the wrong here. Would love to see our "young bucks" go out there and bring a little swagger.

I agree. I just think Tuesday is more of an overall appreciation for Deonta and Steve.

Deonta's career has been a major success IMO. This year has been disappointing but it isnt how you start it is how you finish and he can still finish strong.

I'm not so sure that the next two are "must win games" With all the experts predicting us to be the first four out every week is it possible that we win one against either Villanova or Georgetown and one in the Big East Tournament and still squeek in?

Especially if there are no upsets in the conference tournaments.

Great1, love the signature. I was going to give u neg reps for that hockey comment, but I want to give you reps for that one, so it equals out.

As for the game, it's a must win. I think it will be tough to see DV's last game here.
