Middletown sophomore QB Jalin Marshall and Middletown junior CB Cody Quinn received verbal offers from UC on Friday, according to Middletown coach Jason Krause.Marshall, who is 6 feet and 195 pounds, has rushed for 1,405 yards and 17 touchdowns this season.

Quinn, who is 5-11 and 165, has two interceptions and a fumble recovery for the Middies.

“They are unbelievably fast on both sides of the ball,” first-year Lakota East coach Rick Haynes said of the Middies. “(Cody) Quinn may be the fastest kid I’ve ever seen.
“Any of their skill guys can get the ball and score,” he continued. “So we can’t just focus on one because someone else will beat you if you do.”
