Point guard
Roselle, New Jersey
Roselle Catholic
AAU: NJ Roadrunners
Ht:5'11"
Wt:170 lbs
Class:2013 (High School)

Being recruited by Coach Savino. Teammate of Tyler Roberson who is quoted in an article, "Four-star recruit Tyler Roberson on if Kansas State's scholarship offer to Hakim Saintil, his high school teammate, would play a role in his impending college choice: "It's not going to be the main factor, but if me and Hakim end up at the same school, it would be nice. We've been playing (AAU) with each other for a long time." (http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/rapid-reports/post/16473437)

He's a scoring point guard who can make an open 3. Reads defenses very well and can score in the paint. Also has good hands on the defensive end.

Cincinnati offered Hakim Saintil, a 2013 PG from Roselle Catholic (NJ), last night. Kansas State & SMU have also offered.

Lol, I saw we offered him on twitter and wanted to see if we had anything up on him.

Of coarse Jeff is two steps ahead of me.

Hakim Saintil has been terrific in the second half. Running the show, getting people involved, and minmizing turnovers.

If Hakim Saintil plays in the CAA, he'll look like Darius Theus. If he plays in the Big East, he'll look like fmr Marquette G Maurice Acker.

Hakim Saintil, a 5’11 point guard who was listed as a Day One top performer, has a wide range of college looks. The 2013 prospect from Roselle Catholic (NJ) and the NJ Roadrunners claims scholarship offers from Cincinnati, South Carolina and East Carolina. He said he is also hearing from UConn, Syracuse, Iona, Dayton, Wagner, and Rhode Island. Saintil remains “wide open” in his recruitment and is planning to make his choice “probably by September.” As for what he is looking for in a school, Saintil replied, “See if I could play immediately, good academics and just a family oriented place.”

I've been reading he could go the prep route. It'd be interesting to see if UC would pursue him in the '14 class if he does.
