Is there any reason we haven't offered this kid yet?

By the way, for what it's worth, I'm sorry if starting a thread is obnoxious. I know that I'm not a moderator. Anyway, input from Jeff or whomever would be greatly appreciated.

Not obnoxious, I know there already was a thread about him but now I don't see it. Either way, I have heard (and seen) he does not move very quickly. That's not the game that Cronin has tried to implement into this program. He is also moving to Florida soon so its not like we let a hometown kid get away so much.

We already have a thread for him, but there is no problem with anyone starting threads. Williams is a bruiser and I think Mick wants more athletic low post players. I have asked myself why UC didn't go after him harder.

i am floored as to why we aren't after him. yes he is a limited athlete and is likely an undersized center in college...but given our inability to recruit bigs i do not think we have the luxury of passing by a guy with cincinnati ties who is a top 100 caliber player.

i have seen him several times and he can score better than any player on our roster on the block. i know he is not an ideal system fit, but you can make things work with undersized players in college. all said, uc hasn't earned the right to be picky with big men they way that have been recruiting the 5 position the last few years.

he likes xu and ucla last interview i saw 2 weeks ago....gonna bite us in the tail if he is at xu.

Down to Memphis, Ohio State, UCLA, N.C. State and West Virginia. UC has had no interest for a while but posted for those who follow the local recruits.
