But how does a school he might not win their junk league, with literally 1 good win get a top 2 seed or even top 3? Explain this to me?

If your talking about Kentucky, some of it is because they are Kentucky. And they were preseason number 1. Don't like it but that's how it works

Seeding the tournament isn't about who is talented. It's what you've actually done. And the facts are when Kentucky plays good teams they lose outside of onetime. That's not a 2 seed.

Not many great teams either. The 2-5 seeds aren't that different this years. I don't even think the 1 seeds are that good.

Why are you so upset? Many projections have them as a 2 seed. It's not a stretch.

I've asked why Kentucky is a 2seed to everyone I've seen putting them there. And don't ever revive a real good answer. Because not one amount of data supports them as a 2. Why is Kentucky a 2?

Easy:
- #9 in the RPI (#7 in KenPom)
- #6 in OOC SOS
- 6 Top 50 Wins
- 9 wins away from home

That sounds 2 seed-ish to me. At the very least, it shouldn't be a stretch to put them there.

We aren't on the committee, we give our opinions. Which don't really mean anything but it's all we have

Kentucky is a 2 bc they are Kentucky. Nothing deeper to consider.

I'll take your word for it.

They were a 4 seed last season with a great resume (including winning the SEC Tournament, sharing regular season title, and #8 in KenPom). Try and figure that one out. The committee lacks consistency which makes it so hard to forecast accurately.
