'13 SC SG Sindarius Thornwell (Offer)

Shooting guard
Lancaster, South Carolina
Lancaster
AAU: Team United
Ht:6'5"
Wt:180 lbs
Class:2013 (High School)

Loves to attack but can hit the open shot. Excels in the pick and roll. Cincinnati has offered. Others include Ohio State, Memphis, South Carolina, Tennessee, Villanova, Providence, and the entire ACC except for Duke and UNC. He will cut his list once he starts taking visits. Seems to really like Jay Wright and Villanova's style of play. Has a good relationship with Clemson.

Yes, success is a wonderful thing. Let's hope we land some. 2013 is a loaded class, far deeper than 2012 imo.

I say because of the success we get 3 top 100 players and a top 20 recruiting class. That's what I expect and should be come the norm.

Sindarius Thornwell is turning into one of the better scorers in the 2013 class. His middle game is on point.

Sindarius Thornwell had a great weekend for Team United (NC) really improved his stock, already a high-major, may have become elite

Talk about an athletic slasher. Thornwell was able to get to the basket off the dribble on multiple occasions, and his ability to finish in traffic played an important role in United’s 2-0 day. He’s at his best in the transition game, and stated that he’s working on improving his perimeter shot this summer. With trips to the NBA Top 100, Kevin Durant and LeBron James camps on his schedule, the chance to do that work against some of the other top players in the country should make Thornwell an even better prospect.

Sindarius Thornwell says that there isn’t a leader in the race for his services but did mention South Carolina and Memphis. What that means is difficult to tell, but while location isn’t a concern playing in a program that has a family atmosphere and plays an uptempo brand of basketball. From an academic standpoint, Thornwell mentioned sports management and broadcast journalism as academic interests.
