It's funny to me because most places has this kid as a 3 star recruit. So if he signs with UC, people would complain that we can't win with 3 star talent. But if they 3 star passes on us, we must have terrible pitches.

I'm glad UC doesn't make many promises to kids when they come to campus. I mean, we lost zero players to transfer in the off season. Not many teams can say that and it's mostly because coaches set their expectations all wrong and then don't follow through

So I found out my buddy from college actually coaches his team, Team United. Supposedly nothing went wrong on the visit. He just didn't get to spend as much time with them. I guess there were a bunch of families visiting that day. Also said we have been looking at a couple other kids from that team. But its great to know we have a guy in the eybl who plugs Cincinnati to all of his kids bc he used to live here and his family is still in the area.

From information I've gather from him,the visit to u.c might have been curiosity visit nothing more. I was told he already had visit line up with them.With the offer from u.c he decided to check both campuses out.Also asked him about family connection to them. His father played at Duke, another uncle for Notre Dame and the other uncle for crap school across town.Apparently the one who played at x might have been the best athlete of the three. He is in there hall of fame. Drafted in two sports after college, baseball and basketball. This is why he has interest the other school.
