Kadeem Allen (6-3/G/2014) of Hutchinson CC has Cinci in today to see him. Kansas will be in Thursday & Arizona next week.

Same school as DeBerry.

Good player but he shoots in the low 30% area on threes but 44% overall. Averaged almost 4 assists a game as well as 5 rpg and 17 ppg. He was the Jayhawk East MVP. Arizona, Kansas State, Marquette, Nebraska, Seton Hall, West Virginia, Indiana and Miami (Fla.) and of course UC are in on his recruitment.

According to Brad Winton a juco reporter Cincinnati, Kansas, and Arizona are the 3 teams coming on strong for Allen and he is visiting Arizona this weekend and could visit UC and Kansas in November. Also Allen has changed positions and is a pg now and is a very good one. Would have 2 years eligibility remaining.

Kadeem Allen, a 6-3 guard at Hutchinson CC, picked up an offer from Kansas yesterday afternoon before departing for an official visit to Arizona. Last season Allen was the only freshman named an NJCAA D1 First Team All-American. Allen, who played the shooting guard spot last year at Hutch, has transitioned to the point guard spot for this season. Allen has the ability to play either spot at the next level.

He has an excellent understanding of the game and will bring value on both ends of the floor at the next level. He has a solid stroke from the perimeter and has a quick first step which allows him to get to the rim. Since shifting to the point guard spot, Allen has proven that he is a very good passer and is able to handle the ball against full court pressure.

Allen has not set a date for a visit yet with Kansas, but that could come in November. Along with Kansas and Arizona, he is also considering Cincinnati.
