2015 PG/SG William Jackson (UConn decommit) just committed to Georgia. Wonder how that effects Malik, who's been high on Georgia.

Recently bumped up to a 5-star by 247, 24th overall. He was just a 3-star guy like 4-5 months ago I believe. Crazy how a good spring and summer can make you rocket up like that.

Now that he has REALLY blown up, it is going to be hard to get him. I believe he plays for a Nike AAU team btw...Lawrence playing on an Adidas team helped us land him, looks like the opposite may be true for Beasley.

We were in on him pretty early. I wouldn't be shocked if we made his top 8 but fell out of the running a little bit after that.

Why do you think that? Bearcats were on him very early in the process and have not backed off. This staff does not waste time on kids they cant land. Id be very surprised if we dont make that list.

Yeah I guess 8 is a lot. I am just a little worried bc I havent seen much connecting us to him lately and as we all know he has been getting offers like crazy.

Staff is working hard, a lot of competition from within his own state and the bigs boys. However we were in very early. Lets make the cut on Friday and try to go from there.

I get what you're saying, but you're on a forum. The point of forums is to debate and discuss. If we all had inside info, we wouldn't be here. We're all guessing/speculating. "Breaking news" type-things need sources, but I have no problem with people talking about what they think Beasley will do.
