The high school games definitely needs a shot clock.
Mick Said that at all levels a shot clock is needed to improve offense. He said if not they just Pass and Pass and Pass until there's a breakdown someone goes makes a layup.

Moeller did all they could to stop Jarron. A lot of holding and pushing. And their normal stalling. It was impressive that he got 22pts because Wilmington didn't do a good job of getting him the ball and run zero screens for him.

Wilmington plays centerville Saturday at 7 pm at Xavier once again for a shot to go to the final 4 in Columbus.

If you go on campusnation.com you can watch wilmingtons game against moeller the other night, but I should warn you it's boring with no shot clock. And I believe this game will eventually be on that site as well.

Was at the game tonight to watch Cumberland. The only thing I learned is centerville is awful I mean it was hard to watch

Think i might head up to see how he does. I'l let you guys know my impressions afterwards.

Went pretty much as expected. I've never seen Cumberland play other than small clips and highlight videos so this is more of first impressions more than anything. He quietly had a double double and no doubt showed he was the best player on the floor. He has a very solid, college ready build but I didn't see him use it much posting up and what not, I know he's a gaurd but I was hoping to see him fight through contact and demand the ball on the post more since he's so built, didn't see that. Other than that he has a nice smooth shot (needs to improve ft shooting) and is really solid as a guard. He showed great ball-handling ability as well as great passing. He was also very VERY good in man D (which is all Wilmington played) and should fit very well in our defense, so I was really happy to see that.

Overall, I was hoping to see more dominance on the offensive end, wasn't disappointed nor surprised, but I was a lot more impressed with his abilities as a guard and his defensive play.

Side note - Wilmington is an extremely good team, I have no idea how they lost one. I'd be shocked if they don't win state.

They beat my alma mater LaSalle  and was able to shoot at a much higher percentage than they did tonight. If you can match their height and get a hand in their face on threes they are very easy to beat but once they start knocking down shots it can turn into their game with LaSalle last week.

Wilmingtons D is very good.
