If anyone is interested the finals of Dick's Nationals is on ESPN and no JP Macura is not making an appearance. It features Oak Hill Academy (VA) vs La Lumiere (IN). A couple of big time recruits and high major guys playing in this game.

Don't care what the level of competition is but this kid can finish in traffic against bigger players. When's the last time we had a guard like that? I'd take Broome in a heartbeat.

Hope he commits to us soon, by the way you can watch most his games at northeasternconference.org.

It would be nice to start getting guys that can create shots for themselves and others. The Van Exel comparison is nice. By the way, Nick's career Assist to Turnover ratio was 3.6-2.0 on two GOOD teams. The creators are always going to have a turnover component. Wonder what Broome's assist #s would have been with some guys who could finish plays.

Fascinating to go back and look at the numbers. NVE had 99 assist, 51 turnovers in 34 games in '91-'92. In '92-'93, he had 138-82 in 31 games. The numbers tell the story of how much more of the burden he shouldered that 2nd season without Herb Jones and Anthony Buford as scoring options (and Buf as another ball handler). AD Jackson's injury didn't help either.

Dude was the best ball handler I have ever seen. Could weave in and out of traffic, go thru traffic. Plus unbelievable peripheral vision. As LT stated earlier this yr: when NVE played in midnight madness it was so obvious how good he was. Also remember his first game as a Laker- star of the game. How many 30+ foot threes did the guy make in the NBA?? Hopefully Broome can be half the player NVE was.

He's narrowed his list down to Creighton and Cincy. Official vists this week to both schools. Why would other schools waste time and resources jumping into the process so late with him?

Any word on if the visit has occurred or when this week it might?

I believe he's visiting us Thursday and Friday, then Creighton Saturday-Sunday. Or the days might be switched, I can't find the tweet I saw. I know it's this weekend though.
