So far we've got Moore, the shooter we've been wanting for a long time. And now Nsoseme, which you can never have enough rebounding and shot blocking. Give me Epperson and Williams and I'll like this class a lot.
I agree with this 100%. Would love to get those two - a versatile big who can stretch the floor and we can mold in the weight room and a 6'4" scorer who looks like he can operate inside or out.

Plus, that would mean a full roster for 17-18!

It's interesting as i have yet to see Jon Rothstein on twitter mention Nsoseme. He's fairly tight with Cronin, and has always been pretty good at talking up uc.

Rothstein talks up everyone. You have to take what he says with a grain of salt. I'm ok with being a positive guy and having an optimistic outlook (that's how I am in everything I do, especially my job) but understand that it is not just UC he talks up. He does that with everyone so I don't get too excited about anything coming from him.

I was thinking that too, but realistically it is what it is - we got a diamond in the ruff apparently like Jacob said. We just need to trust our coaching staff. I hope to hear some stuff once their basketball season starts. I hope Chad is right how he said we were somewhat lucky that he was injured in one of the summer leagues so he didn't draw much attention.

Lucky in that he made a lot of noise the week before in Milwaukee to get on some staffs radar, but was limited the next week when they had him on their list to watch. UC had someone at all of his games in Milwaukee so they had already made their evaluation...

I'll open the odds at 75 to 1 that this "kid" will never see the court because the NCAA won't clear him. John Reik the second...

John Reik was cleared by the NCAA. UC passed on him because his knee was shredded and never got the proper medical attention...

Coach Cronin said in his press conference that Nsoseme didn't play with shoes, a net, or inside until 18 months ago. Sounds like he's had a crazy journey.

Should be a redshirt candidate, a year in the strength program would do wonders. We return all bigs, pending anything crazy.

Watched most of his tournament finals game -live stream at North Pole Hoops- most of his points came from about 2 ft. ( no dunks) runs well, didn't see one jump shot. Needs the strength coach bad. He had quite a few good passes, finding open cutters. Right now definitely a redshirt candidate to me.

I hope I am wrong.

But I have a feeling this kid is going to be completely ineffective and terrible as a basketball player at the college level. Kelvin Gaines, David Nyarsuk, Biggie Mclain, Cheik Mbodj, Jamaree Strickland, Steve Toyloy,... You get the point.
