Good point . Maybe he doesn't like the staff, maybe his parents never liked uc, maybe he didn't like uc growing up. Could be something as simple as that. We all have no clue. Just because players don't what to come here doesn't mean something is wrong.

I don't think anyone thinks anything is wrong or at least I hope not. Just me personally when I see a higher rated kid from Cincy I am hoping to land him, but yeah you can't help if the kid doesn't want to come here for what ever the reason may be.

This. If one my kids turned out to be a top 10 player in the country, no way i would want them to go to UK. UK fans would freak and wonder why the hell he doesnt want to go to UK. There's a million reasons why kids choose or don't choose schools. Silly for fans to get offended when a kid doesnt consider a school they have absolutely no ties to

No mention of UC in this recent interview. He had a chance to name-drop them and listed over a dozen other schools instead.

"Fans love recruiting. Who are some schools that you’re hearing from a lot these days?

Arkansas, South Carolina, Maryland, Xavier, Purdue, Syracuse, Michigan, Florida, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Louisville, and Georgetown recently."

As important as it is for UC to actively recruit local players of this caliber, this might be one of the exceptions where it makes sense for them to back off.

He's gonna be a high-risk, high-reward player no matter where he ends up, and with a program as stable as ours, we could do without any prima donnas disrupting our culture.

Hope everything works out for him though.

Kinda figured he would do something like this. A guy who works for me coaches for Princeton football and knows Bazley well. Let's just say his attitude isn't exactly great.

I don’t blame him. If his goal is to play in the nba, might as well start the process. We have seen others go over seas. If you are good enough, playing in college for 5 months won’t make much of a difference. I’m surprised more don’t do this.

I think the NBA owners want this so they don't have to worry as much about selecting busts in red 1. I have seen zero to warrant his top #10 ranking. Bet he ends up in Europe or china.
