Perfect world i'd take martin and harris but doesn't seem like either will happen. I could see a name sign that surprises everyone, mick is so close to the vest with recruiting

Can't see why any recruit would want to play at Houston. That place is a graveyard in terms of a program. No fan support, ugly arena, all their top players are transferring. If Graham goes there UC didn't want him.

they can get minutes and shots.

Because UC can't? I agree with UCalum; if he commits to Houston, that likely means we didn't offer.
lots more competition at UC for minutes and shots then at Houston. Also my statement doesn't mean our staff didn't back off. I have know idea. Sampson can guarantee both Mick will not. As a JUCO he wants minutes now.

It's going to be a battle for minutes next year. Every spot is 2 deep. I dont know that I would come to uc if I was looking for immediate minutes. Also if you're not a d minded player it will be that much tougher

I don't know...right now, the shooting guards will be KJ (not fully proven) & a totally unproven Morman. Seems to me like there's plenty of minutes if a guy can come in and light it up. If he can't, who needs him anyway?

Recruits read these forums, so thanks for that.

I disagree regardless. Yeah, we are deep, but nobody is proven. If you can come out hot, you WILL get plenty of minutes.

If someone decides not to commit bc a message board said they would have to fight for minutes, I'm not sure we want that player anyway.
I think a guy like Haywood could fight for a starting spot right when eligible though, he'd be a 4th year JR by then.

Here is yet another transfer: Elijah Brown (son of Cavs coach Mike Brown) from Butler. He is a 6' 4'' shooting guard, averaged 6.8 points per game as a freshman and was ranked in the Rivals top 150 out of high school.

#Cavs coach Mike Brown's son, Elijah, transferring from Butler. Averaged 6.8 points, 2.2 rebounds as freshman.

I was responding to others who said there were plenty of minutes available. There may be minutes out there, but nobody, returning players included, is going to automatically get minutes without earning it on the court. Sorry for hurting your recruiting mick, lol

Interesting transfer: Chaminade's Christophe Varidel, former FGCU guard who went for 42 vs. Baylor last year. One year left, can play ASAP.

The transfers will literally never end.

Thought it might be time to close the book on the Torian Graham thread.
I gotta say, I'd be shocked if we went into next year with only 11 scholarship players. We may not get many updates for a couple weeks though, since Haywood won't visit til then and Martin still has to graduate.
As good as I feel about Martin, it's hard to imagine he wont at least go through the process of hearing other schools out. However, if we dont feel like ww have him locked up, I'm going to be left wondering what the hell went wrong this spring.

Javonte Hawkins is transferring from USF, we were recruiting him out of high school could be interest again. Small forward with 2 years left.

from the beginning he's who I wanted. Love to see he don't mind traveling, exactly what I thought he's looking to get away from his environment.
