i can't understand leaving Missouri for Tulsa.......step back imho
Was on the hot seat. And in all reality he isnt that great of a coach. IMHO
Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN 44s
Cincinnati will host JU transfer Jarvis Haywood (@ThatBoySmoove4) on May 2, he told ESPN. Soph. G also considering NC St, Temple, Richmond.
Anybody know anything about him?
I'm guessing he would have to sit out a year?
Yeah he would be a traditional transfer. Sit a year then have 2 remaining. Next to Eron Harris he is maybe the best traditional transfer out there just because he is a proven scorer.
This spring recruiting period has been a freaking roller coaster. Now we could use both scholarships after all? I trust that whatever happens, our coaches will make the right calls.
Haywood looks legit to me. He wasn't a high volume three point shooter (just 84 attempts) but still hit 41%. He shot an efficient 51% from the floor on 11 shot attempts per game. He scored over 20 points 6 times and in double figures in 27 of the 30 games he played. I am slightly concerned about the 3 turnovers per games but overall he looks like exactly the type of scorer Cincinnati could use in the backcourt to step in Guyn's spot after he graduates.
Are we in on Harris from WVU? Or has that ship sailed?
I thought, like Martin, he was still finishing up his coursework before transferring. Until then nothing can happen.
