4 center vying for really 2 spots 1 as a starter the other as a backup. Don't be surprised if someone goes rather it be Lyles asking out of LOI or Johnson transferring.

I would bet everything I own the NBA team would win. By a landslide.

I think the 76ers would win by at least 20. If they played 100 times, maybe UK catches them on an off day, gets hot, and beats them once or twice. There's no such thing though as a college team who can compete regularly with even the worst teams in the highest professional leagues... at least in basketball, football, baseball, hockey, and soccer anyway.

I bet Alabama could have beat the jaguars last year.

Thaddeus Young would score 60 on Kentucky. And no college football team could even stay on the same field with ANY NFL team. C'mon guys.

Nope. NFL vs. College is Men vs. Boys physically.

On top of the physical differences, think about how different the NFL/NBA is from college. With basketball, the NBA is far more up-tempo and defense isn't emphasized as much as it is in college. Even though I don't like the NBA, I am the first to admit that they would run circles around any college team. With football, the NFL players are far more physically developed and the defense is much tougher than it is in college. In college football, there tends to be many more high scoring games because defenses aren't capable of handling the spread like they are in the NFL.

Getting back on track, I hope, and truly believe, that Mick has his sites set on certain guys and won't just sign someone to sign someone. I will be happy with a wing who can put the ball in the hole. That's all I want at this point.

I don't think Mick's ever done that. If there is an above average shooting guard that wants to play here, I have to assume Mick will pounce on it.

Is Jarvis Haywood the only one with an official visit scheduled? Any word on Lyrik Shreiner's plan? If he visits us and Washington State, do we want him to visit here first or second?

As far as I know, he's the only one scheduled. I'd prefer Shreiner just visits us first. A lot of times guys will just commit right after visiting a school they really like. Or even at the end of their visit.

Purdue transfer Ronnie Johnson told ESPN he will visit Tennessee this week, and expects to choose from Vols, Xavier and Houston.

Didn't this guy have character issues? Sounds like he'd fit right in at X.

We wanted him then he's interested in Xavier and you bring up character issues? Stop...you're embarrassing us.

We did stop recruiting him not only because of character issues but also there were/are better players we are in contention for.

We can't say jack about other schools recruiting players with character issues. We accepted Lance Stephenson with open arms, didn't we?

We've had Jucos and 5th yr prep players and not to mention EVERY year one of our recruits are ineligible. Sorry to say it our players might not be CRIMINALS but they WITHOUT A DOUBT HAVE CHARACTER ISSUES!! Their teens all of them have issues.
