I hope they take him to the Reds game too. There will be a great crowd and atmosphere. I think he will be impressed with what UC has to offer.
was at the game. Reds blew a 8-0 lead. If they took him to the game I hope he wasn't a reds fan.i wanted to puke after it. Instead I I walked around after game and got hammered. Great time bar hopping. The banks is a fun place.

Haha yeah that was a disgusting performance last night. But today is a sellout and Griffey Jr bobblehead. That atmosphere will be great. Even with the poor play you still had fun (thanks to booze too lol) I'll be there today too. Waite, are you drinking now?! We will have to meet up again once UC takes the field/court!

He wasn't at the game last night, he didn't get into town till today. But he could go to today's game.

absolutely! Staying at the hilton tonight but not going to game. Maybe we'll run into you at the banks.

Just got back into town today from a week's long vacation. Had my connection flight cancelled yesterday in Chicago and had to catch a flight this morning. This kid was on my flight. There was a kid that just looked like a basketball player and the right age range for college so he struck my eye. While waiting for our baggage I noticed a Colorado State bag on his back. Now that I'm home and catching up on this board for the past week I saw this thread and looked up the player. Sure enough it was him. Wish I had known I would've struck up an innocent conversation.

That's so cool! Would've been awesome if you had a chance to talk to him but very neat regardless. When did your flight land? Just curious how long he'll be here.

Flight landed about 12:30. Yeah I was within five feet of him waiting for luggage. Could've welcomed him to Cincinnati had I known who it was. I did have a Bearcat shirt on, so that just might make the difference...

Haven't seen anything. I hate that UCLA is the last visit. He's played games out west and Alford is familiar with him...makes me nervous.

Yeah,me too. Reminds me of Elijah Stewart - when he didn't commit right after visit, and then is going to UCLA....seems like that's never a good thing. He would be a really solid addition, but it's hard to argue against a program that will send 3 players to the NBA.

'Course, one could argue that being unable to win the PAC 12, and being unable to get out of the Sweet 16 while having three NBA players would indicate a lack of coaching.

@JonRothstein
Kansas transfer Andrew White told @CBSSports he will visit Nebraska tomorrow and Friday. Will have two years of eligibility remaining.

That would be a nice pick up for them.

Writeup from Bruination:

This one is a bit of a head-scratcher. We have the 2014-15 -only scholarship to give, and apparently Octeus is a good perimeter defender, but why would he A) transfer and B) come to UCLA to sit behind Balford, Powell and Hamilton? Perhaps it's to finish his college career at a high-profile program and get one of those invaluable UCLA sheepskins. Makes no sense to leave a starting role otherwise.

Missouri also picked up a PG commit

According to Scout.com, Tramaine Isabell, a 6'1, point guard from Seattle, committed to Missouri this morning.

I think if we offer, we are his best option

@DuseReport1063
#CSU transfer guard Jon Octeus (Royal Palm Beach) is at #UCLA now on a visit. Octeus will transfer to either #Mizzou #Cinci or #Bruins.

@JonRothstein
BREAKING --- Colorado State transfer Jon Octeus has committed to UCLA, source told @CBSSports. Immediately eligible next season.

Looks like the 2014-15 squad is set, just waiting on Quadri to arrive and they can start meshing into another great team.
