Do we want to bend over backwards to meet those demands? We have a 12 deep roster, I think itd be a slap in the face to the guys we have to bring in a new guy for 1 year to dominate the ball and try to get himself to the NBA at everyone else's expense. If we weren't going to be any good, I'd be interested. But I think this group of 12 can win the conference as is and we only have 2 seniors. If it was more than 1 year, or not so many red flags with what he's bringing in, I'd probably be on board.

Na, just ain't met a recruit yet that didn't have their own different preferences. Wouldn't NO recruit in WORLD that's leading scorer in NCAA transfer somewhere they didn't know they was going to play immediately. If he wanted to come here and battle kj, morman, Cobb and guyn for playing time I think his dad would've told him go pro. His dad is a former NBA all star I'm pretty sure he knows what's best basketball wise for his son.

Jack, 12 unproven guys on our roster in big moments. Mick a be nuts if he didn't sign this guy. So were not looking for any starters in next 3yrs?

Well we still have 6 players gone next 2 years. I'd just rather bring in all HS kids and work them from the bottom up through 4 years in the program. Not a fan of some random ballhog and his dad coming from some 7-25 team, and rolling into town for 1 year and trying to call the shots.

What "big moments" did Mason have at Niagara? When you're on a 7-26 team, I don't think there are too many big moments or pressure situations. From what I can tell, his biggest moment was a first round 16 point loss in the NIT. We've had guys on the roster go through these "moments":

- Playing as a top 10 team with a target on your back
- Playing on big time national stage (ESPN Thursday nights, CBS, Big Monday)
- Playing top 10, top 25 teams (and on the road)
- Playing at MSG for the Jimmy V and Big East Tournament
- Playing for a conference title
- NCAA tournament games

Mason has experienced nothing like this so I'd say he's pretty unproven himself. I'm not saying our returning guys dominated these games or anything, but some did have an impact and gained valuable experience along the way.

The fact that his rumored top 3 is GT, Providence, and BC says just about all you need to know.

What exactly is wrong with those 3 schools? It looks to me like he wants to go to a high-major program where he will get plenty of minutes and position himself to get drafted next June. I think we are a better program than the schools you listed, but let's not act like we are UK or Duke.

They will def be a tough team to play. Glad they are in the AAC. With their hone court advantage I don't see them losing more than a couple games at best at home.

Kevin Johnson scored 8 points in 11 minutes twice last year. Extrapolate that out over 38 minutes and its 27 points...

As a side note whoever decided to unban you should be hanged, drawn, and quartered.

and u sound silly. U pointed out 2 games he scored 8 in 11 minutes. What about other 30games? Mason averaged 25 for season. Mason has NEVER averaged 3.5pg on ANY team in his life. Comparing Mason to KJ is comical within itself. Nobody outside of UC DIE HARD fans or Cincinnati has EVER heard of KJ.

I'll give you a hint. It didn't have anything to do with averaging 25 a game.

who cares about original post. That post is from you saying comparing a guy that average 3.5pts to a guy that the returning NCAA leading scorer. Go to a English board if you want to teach how read and write. That's getting old on internet when guy trolls and has nothing else to say. Take that crap somewhere else. I can't read or write bit your smart ass understand everything so much that you respond to everything I say.
