If I remember correctly it was down to us and St. John's at the end of his recruitment. I wonder if we're on his list of potential schools

I would say no way - he was in between us and St Johns. Keep in mind he was suspended last year from St John. I wouldn't even want him from stories I've heard from his recruitment.

Mick (and staff) are great at identifying high level talent. It seems, for whatever reason, we have start with these guys as freshman and sophomores in high school, spend years building relationships, and ultimately schools L'Ville, Kansas, Syracuse, Ohio State, etc. swoop in and get the commitments. I get why we approach it that way. What do we have to do to be one of those schools that can turn heads the way the above listed do?

So much for this moron and his opinions. Let's ban him!

Almost 100% sure we are done. It is good to leave a scholarship open during the season for a potential mid-season transfer too.

If there was an impact player I'd rather use the scholarship then save it in the hopes that a good transfer becomes available mid-season.

Who out there is even available? Not to mention the difficulty in having 12 active players and finding them all minutes.

At this stage, I doubt many. But I said IF. And I don't worry about PT. This isn't knothole, you don't have to find them all minutes. Obviously if a 5th year transfer came in he'd be getting minutes.

A match made in heaven....
