I think it will be us and uconn for the league next year. If semi comes back, SMU could be pretty good but they are losing their 2 seniors, which is a big loss. Ucf should be decent but don't think the league will be that different from this year. Maybe a slight improvement but still won't be great

If it's not SMU, then we're fine. We'll be better than Yukon easily imo.

I think we will be underseeded as usual so around 18 is realistic IMO. I do think that we should be a top 15 team when all is said and done. Although I do think the loss of TC will affect us a lot (even though he didn't have the breakout season we all hoped for)

We'll miss Caupain outside of the stats. He was a good leader and usually brought poise and calm to the rest of the guys. Floor generals are hard to come by.

Maybe we can get a Rhode Island home and home. Mick seems to be close with Danny Hurley. I think some games like that are the best we can hope for

Illinois State is basically begging for teams to come play them, we should be making that phone call if we haven't already.

Starters (like everyone else)
Broome
Cumberland
Evans
Clark
Washington

Brooks, Jenifer, Williams, Moore, Scott and T Moore off the bench. I'd be surprised if Nsoseme didn't redshirt.

Our bench could probably finish middle of the pack in the AAC.

Our starters *should* all be up for AAC Awards.

I'd like that too.

Illinois is begging for Power 5 teams to schedule them, almost sarcastically, since the committee only seems to care about wins from Power 5 conferences. He was kind of doing the same thing Mick was when he described ticket sales = seeding - pointing out an issue with the committee in the way a coach can.

Uconn should be very good next year. They are bringing back Adams, Vital and JAckson. Larrier, Gilbert and Diarra will all be back and healthy. Then they bring in 3 four star players. a PG/PF/C.

Also SMU brings in Mcmurray from USF and will still have Semi and Shake

Adams won't leave?

SMU will still have Emelogu too. He's just as good as Cumberland...

The end of the season is going to sting until after March Madness, but will be excited for the offseason. Within the past year we have had a crazy offseason/season as far as news. Stuff we didn't know last year at this time that happened throughout the year:

Received a transfer that might be the best player on the team (Cane Broome).
Big time recruit commitment from Keith Williams.
For sure going through with the arena renovation.
Announced we will play at NKU next year.
Possible adding teams to the AAC.
The Big 12 annoyance.
I'm sure many more...

Hopefully this year we add Wichita State and/or other good mid major teams.
We are going to get a home and home with someone or at least have at least 1 to 2 big OOC games that we will all look forward to.
Obviously we will all be following recruiting. Hope for some good recruits/transfers.

Time will pass and warm weather is upon us. Things will get better. Heck of a season.
