I think Kyle Bolden's commitment here may change Colerain players mindset but I think Keontae was always going to play with his brother. But there are a lot of really really good high level D1 guys coming up at Colerain so Fickell will have plenty more chances.
 
OG/DT Howard Watkins could be a candidate to flip to UC. He's committed to Illinois but is very close to his mother and may want to stay home instead. Fiery, mean kid who is an excellent run blocker.

Wow didn't realize that. Always found it odd he went up there considering how much he always talked about playing in front of his mom in college. Either way, wish the kid luck and think he's gonna be a really good college player.

What this staff has done in 2 months time is incredible. Took a casual fan ( me) and turned me into someone who is excited for this season to start!

Can not wait to see what this staff can do over the summer for the 2018 class.

Seriously! A couple months ago who thought we'd be getting freaking amped up for National Signing Day? And this is just the beginning!

Getting transfers from OSU, kids flipping commitments from Louisville to join us, multiple recruits with P5 offers choosing us instead, a few 4 star recruits, local kids committing and then recruiting others to stay home as well. What a change!

I'm still fully engaged with basketball for now, but I can't wait to see this team next fall.

Never said he was coming just that he was thinking about staying home. He has some personal stuff going on where staying here would benefit him. But the allure of OSU was enough to override the need to stay home. He is signing with OSU

That's incredible! If he can coach half as good as he has been handling things this far...we are going to be in extremely good shape. I have no reason at this point to think otherwise. It sounds like he is putting his heart and soul into all the things required to be a great head coach.

The coaching hires....the recruits...the public relations...the culture...the x's and o's. It's been an absolute home run hire so far! Can't wait to see him roaming the sidelines!!

Tommy has/had a nice resume going back to his assistant days under JJ at The U; however, was he ever really a great recruiter? His best classes may have been at Auburn, but it's tough to not get a top 50 class in the SEC. TT lost touch, he lost his cool, but I don't think he ever was a great recruiter.

I'm so stoked about the current roster and recruits. I'm so happy they get to learn from and play for Luke! This is a great opportunity for our players/team and we the fans will see it translate to the field.

Given the interested kids for 2018, I have to believe we will be in the 30's next year. 1-2 four star recruits and 15-17 three star recruits is where Baylor was with the 33rd highest rating.

Luke has drawn a wall around the tri-state. The top tier kids will go to ND and tO$U, with a few going to M or MSU, but we will be in on those kids and all of the next level. I also believe we will have fewer transfers into the program next year and more recruits builds points.
