I like it...What is the * for NC Central and Western Mich?

Also, the Emerald Coast Classic's second game is the day after the first game, Nov. 24th

* is for on-campus games that are apart of the Emerald coast classic.

Just forgot to add it

Some info about each team on the schedule:

#16 Ohio State: Brings in #25 ranked class, loses 3 out of its 5 leading scorers. Trending down or holding most likely

#316 North Carolina Central: unavoidable bad game. appears to Returns its top 5 scorers. Trending Up or holding steady

#188 Western Michigan: Returns 3 of its top 5 leading scorers but does lose its top scorer. Trending down or holding steady

#220 George Mason: Returns nearly everyone on one of the youngest teams in basketball last. Trending Up

#34/#108 Baylor/Ole Miss: Ill assume Baylor takes the win. Baylor brings in a 4 star and a 3 star recruit but loses its top 4 leading scorers. Could be a rebuild for baylor. trending down

#15 Xavier: Loses macura, gates, blueitt, kanter, & Omara. But keeps rising players Goodin, Scruggs & Marshall. To supplement the losses, they also added 3 high scoring transfers (2 grad transfers and 1 D2 transfer). Won't be anything like last year but still expect them to be any from 25-40 in kenpom and maybe top 20 defensively. Trending Down

#54 @Miss State: Returns 6 of its 7 leading scorers and adds in #15 ranked class with 3 4 star recruits including a top 30 player. Miss state could be a top 15 team or better next year and will 100% be a tier 1 game. Winning that one will be tough as we will be out talented by a good bit. Trending WAY UP

#56 UCLA : They lose Holiday, welsh & Golomon but could still return former 5 Star Kris Wilkes and Jaylen Hands as well as Prince Ali, Chris Smith, Codey Riley & Jalen hill. All are 4 or 5 star players. And then they add another Top 10 ranked class that includes 5 Star Moses brown and 3 4 star players (Shaq's son included).. Uber talented. If hands and Wilkes Return, they are trending up

Mildly confirmed by Brendel on the latest skinny podcast this week

Nevada needs a couple games to fill out the schedule. I say make it happen, we owe them one!!!!

We can continue the tradition of scheduling the teams that knock us out of the first weekend of the tournament every season that started with UCLA last year. Hooray!

It sure beats playing directional U, plus UCLA scheduled UC in FB and BB. IMO UC needs to play more teams out west and teams that play different styles in non con

Agreed. Would love to see a H & H with any of St. Mary's, Gonzaga, Nevada (as long as Musselmann stays), Oregon, Stanford, Arizona to name a few. I realize it takes 2 to tango, but it would be nice road trips for the players too. Having said that UC's OOC is looking pretty good so far.

So a recap to the schedule (im not including dates):
OSU
NKU
Xavier
UCLA
@Miss State
George Mason
Ole Miss/Baylor
@UNLV
NC Central
Western Michigan

Im really really happy with this schedule so far. We only have room for 3 buy games that we can control. And NC Central while it was trash last season, could still be much better next season and its the worst team we play.

Our schedule lines up to our advantage as UCLA and OSU are home games. .We can beat Miss St at their place.

It will be cool if Shaq comes to the game @ UC

I'm sure we are all thinking that our upcoming team wont be as good as the previous two years, but it's still solid. I mean, I would take this team over the SK senior year team, and they ended up #7 in the country at one point. Would everyone agree?

NC Central returns 4 starters from NCAA team and ranked #140 in this preseason poll.

Very happy with this schedule. This is what we should shoot for every year. Obviously we aren't going to be able to have teams like OSU and UCLA at our place every single season, but I like the bump up to 8 from the usual 6 P5/A-10/MWC level teams on our schedule, plus the quality buy games so far.

Biggest "concept" stressed at a Cincinnati practice? NO LAYUPS for the opposition. Play is stopped when someone gives us an easy basket.

another offseason working on defense

Don’t you think it’s crystal clear UC wont be very good on offense after unexpectedly losing Evans? So instead of working on nothing but offense which has a ceiling based on personnel you instead focus at this teams strength and defense is clearly that. Synergy grades every returning players as very good or excellent defenders.

New arena and back to 52-50 games

I don't know. I mean we have had back to back unbelievable seasons with great teams. This year won't be like that but there's still some talent and scorers.

This probably isn't the right thread, but where does everyone think this team will stack up. Top 3 Cronin teams are obviously the sweet 16 year and the 2016-2017 2017-2018 teams, but where would this upcoming year be? Obviously time will tell but lets not act like we are going to be awful.
