Temple is 9-40 FG 6-14 FT 0-9 3 PT FG...where was that against us?

They are probably wondering the same thing. We scored 55 points in the second half at home against Temple. There have been 8 games this season where Cincinnati has not scored more than 55 points the entire game.

Tulsa looks legit, they are extremely athletic, looks like they have a good home court advantage as well. They also are playing with a chip on their shoulder with being the first 4 out. That will be a very tough win for us.

They are a worse offensive team than Cincinnati. If UC is focused like they were @SMU in the second half, I think that game is winnable.

Daniel Hamilton averages over 7 boards a game and played the 4 today.

Doesn't change what I said about Clark. He doesn't have the range or handle to play the three. Could he play there in spots? Sure but at this stage I can't see him as an everyday three though at one time I thought he might be able to.

Who said anything about Clark being a 3?

I don't think Evans to Hamilton is the right comparison. Evans has played PG some in HS and Hamilton is over 7 reb per game and currently playing the 4 spot in college. Comparing Clark to him doesn't mean Clark has to move to the 3. Anyway, I agree that we don't ever need to have 2 other big guys on the floor with Clark. But it'd be nice to see him playing more stretch 4 facing the basket over time.

Couple interesting games this week...UConn @ECU Wednesday...SMU @ Memphis on Thursday...Tulsa @ Memphis Saturday...SMU @ UConn Sunday

I know Temple is a half game ahead and with our loss to Memphis we're in 5th?

So now UC, Temple and Memphis with 5 losses. Bearcat_NTS where does that leave things currently?

In a 3 team tie-breaker, you first look at records against each other....

Temple: 2-1 .667
Memphis: 1-1 .500
Cincinnati: 1-2 .333

So in this scenario Temple would be 3, Memphis 4 and Cincinnati 5. If two teams have the same record in this mini-conference, that is where the sweep of SMU comes in handy as that is the next tie-breaker.

However Memphis @ Temple and Memphis @ Cincinnati still remain.

not to be a jerk but temple and Memphis only play once this year and that's already happened they don't play again.

That being said if there was a 3 way tie Temple would be the 3 seed and the winner of the Memphis cincy game would be the 4 and the loser would be the 5.

heres the remaining schedule of teams we could possibly catch up too or drop in the standings too:

Tulsa's remaining schedule
vs Tulane
@Memphis
vs Cincinnati
@ SMU

Temple's Remaining schedule
vs Houston
@Eastern Carolina
vs UConn

Cincinnati's Remaining schedule
vs Central Florida
@Tulane
@Tulsa
vs Memphis

Memphis Remaining Schedule
vs SMU
vs Tulsa
@ UConn
@ Cincy

Uconn
@ECU
vs SMU
vs Memphis
@ Temple

Memphis has a brutal ending to there season, I would say from here ours is the second most favorable and temple to me is a lock at that 3 seed.

Temple still needs us to lose in order to get the 3 seed.

It's a little strange because they're currently ahead of us, but we control our own destiny and they do not. Currently, Memphis being in a 3 way tie is keeping them above us. We play Memphis. If we win out, we will jump Temple on tiebreakers.
