The refs missed a blatant travel when Hamilton of Connecticut took 4-5 steps before passing to Boatright for a three. They then turn around and call a phantom travel and then a charge that should have been a no-call or a block, both against Tulsa. The there was the no call when Harrison got his head taken off with 13 seconds left. When the same thing happens two straight nights it's no fluke. The AAC and ESPN got what they wanted, but it was so obvious they should be ashamed. Welcome to the AAC Tulsa, this is how it is.

Thank you. Glad someone else noticed all that too.

If it were anyone other than boatright, they would have gotten t'd up for the blatant disrespect of the refs calls. Uconn has whined about literally every call. What prima donnas

It shows how ignorant their fan base is too. They have boo'd every blantant foul call and they have gotten away with a ton.

Also, I know a guy who traveled with the team, sat behind to UC bench and mentioned how many racist remarks UConn's students said towards UC players. Quite sad that still exsist. After hearing that, UConn is on my list next to Xavier for most disliked fans.

Our conference is such a disappointment. Two teams to the NCAA... As much as I dislike Memphis and UConn I seriously hope they are just rebuilding. If we are going to stay relevant we need a good core group.

Hahaha as bad as that might be, I love it! ESPN and the conference both can't conspire against us to get Uconn in the tourney. A small consolation prize for that screwjob we got :)

Temple should have been in. But our conference had a down year but will be very good next year.
Cinci:brings everyone back
Tulsa: not graduating one player this year, should easily make tourny next year
SMU: wil be very good again next year bring back there best players in moore and kennedy. (moore was POY in the conference)
Memphis: brings everyone back and adds the 12th ranked recruiting class
Uconn: brings back everone besides boatright who is replaced by a top 25 pg in jalen adams who is the next uconn stud guard...this kid is good
-and the bottom of the conference will be improved as a lot of those teams are very young right now

Sounds good, the conference just needs to deliver in their OOC schedule so it can get some national respect. Or cincy/smu win the whole thing to make an AAC NCAA champion 3 years in a row.

Really gotta feel for Temple. They played Kansas, Duke, and Nova OOC. Destroyed Kansas.

But they only had 2 top 50 wins and a loss to Saint Joes.

Can someone explain to me how the baseline RPI is calculated? Does it just boil down to who people think are good in the beginning and then compare against each other.

No. It is 25% your rpi-winning percentage, 50% your opponents rpi-winning percentage and 25% your opponents opponents rpi-winning percentage.

Home games are weighted 1.4 and road games are weighted 0.6 and that is how you calculate your rpi-winning percentage.
