Totally predictable what we said all year. Making Jennifer the undisputed senior leader of this team made for a successful conference season and left us high and dry playing quality high major competition. Logan Johnson was a top 100 recruit, higher ranked out of high school than his brother and we choose to use him as the cigar player. Pathetic.
This is really Dumb. Justin played big today.

It really didn’t help that the players were missing wide open threes. Season is over....Another depressing Cincinnati postseason. I swear to god there can’t be a more miserable sports town.

Oh I’m sorry I’m not some BS excuse for a fan who has to tear down literally every player and part of the program because we lost a tough game, they shot ligjts out from deep. It sucks, I’m pissed too. But I’m not a cry baby. I’m not gonna sit here and talk shit about Jenifer who had a great season, I’m not gonna talk shit about Cumberland who was player of the year in our conference, I’m not gonna cry about our coach who gets us to the tourney every year. And I’m certainly not going to feel bad for not doing those things.

I didn’t say anything about Cumberland or jenifer. Mick is the most successful loser there is though.

He’s the leader. Missed the three to keep us in the game. I would say we lost because Brooks fouled out and we had no option other than Cumberland. Could Logan dishing the ball, pushing the pace, skying for stick backs and creating havoc on defense have made a difference? Not sure. Agreed. Think it's more of the fact that this was indeed a wasted season for Logan. No way else to spin it. Would have rather seen him redshirt and have zero minutes rather than coming in to close out the last couple minutes of halves or blowouts.

He made some plays that netted us some wins. I’m glad he didn’t redshirt. He needs serious work on his shot to get any serious playing time.

Didn't read whole thread, but did anyone else notice that they didn't score us 2 points after we had 50 points?. We had 50 and then scored. They didn't put us to 52 until we scored again.

This team can't shoot... and neither can logan.
Tough to win against a team that shoots 50% from three. I thought our game plan was fine. Cumberland was off, Brooks was on the bench with fouls when Iowa made its big run. We only shot 22% from three with quite a few open looks. Two fairly even teams by efficiency, one made shots and the other didn't. That's what it really comes down to.
Great season, certainly above my expectations. The future is bright, with Samari and Logan able to step in for our graduating seniors. More than likely I'll disappear until November. I'd rather enjoy the Reds and FC Cincinnati than put up with all of the standard Cincinnati fans that just want every coach to be fired in every sport.

They mistakenly gave Cumberland a made basket when he got fouled.
