Should get UCONN in round 2. That bodes well for UC considering UCONN might be out of gas after that Big East Tourney run. Potentially could see San Diego St. in the sweet 16. I like the way this bracket looks for UC. If they can get past Missouri and UCONN, a shot at an Elite 8 or Final 4 is not out of the question. They have to come ready to play though.

Uconn wont be out of gas... I hate that argument, there are college athletes...

They might run out of shot making ability, but we will see.

So much for UC getting out of the Big East.

But first things first, our first round game will be tough.

Our first two games are more difficult then potentially the next two after that. Missouri can score the ball but I like our position. Lets get em cats!

Very tough first 2 round match ups. Missouri will be no cake walk and then a probable rematch with Kemba and company.

Cronin and UC just got a little love from Bilas! For those that weren't watching, Bilas said the UC has a good chance of moving on to play UCONN because they can rebound (and UC must limit their TO's). He also snuck in there that Cronin has done a great job with the program.

If we win our first two games we will either play temple, penn state, san d. or northern Colorado....I like that a lot. But the problem is, the first two games will be tough.

Missouri averages 81.4 points per game. Thats 9th in the country. Does anyone know their deal with scoring? i.e. they have good shooters? big guys who can score?

What I do not understand is the potential 2nd round matchup with UConn. The rule is teams from same conference do not meet until Elite 8, with 11 teams seems like rule should have been teams from same conference should not meet until Sweet 16.

Add me to the group that thinks they'll be (somewhat) out of gas... it should also be noted that they are playing on Thursday/Saturday not Friday/Sunday- so they lose a day of potential rest if they were instead playing on Friday.

I like where the game is at for UC- D.C. is pretty close. Hopefully they have a good following while Mizzou has to travel much further. They are a dangerous team- I can hear George Jackson now when Chuck asks him what they will have to do to advance to the second round: "Transition Defense."
