I hope this game can end the Jenifer should start agument. Troy again showed he runs this team. Please stop looking at his PPG. If you cant see that it's Troys team i dont know what to tell ya. With that said Jenifer will be special here and he played a nice game.

Plus...Cobb.

Yes Cobb has been amazing but it's not realistic to expect 60% from three all year, not sustainable

Obviously he won't shoot 60%...but the fact that he'd get benched in this Jenifer/TC scenario is the craziest part to me. We have all seen (going back to last year) that the Caupain/Cobb backcourt is money.

Cobb is the truth. He showed up every Big Game last year and this year he'll prove he's consistent. Don't believe me just WATCH! I know the work he's put in this off-season, and it will payoff through out the season. YESS COBB TOO!!!!

Exactly why I said he'd be the leading scorer for the season.

I'm not a big proponent of Jenifer starting right now but outside of Cobb I thought Jenifer was the next most impressive player tonight and I'm not talking about points. I'm more and more impressed with DeBerry too.

I think Caupain should start. Jenifer is going to have some turnovers this year but we will need him on the court later in the year when we need someone to create shots or break down better defensive teams if we get stagnant.

Caupain could be putting up way bigger numbers if we needed him to be. He's been a really good facilitator. When we play better teams, I believe we'll see his best games (numbers wise).

On a side note, I've been to all the home games this year and the student section have been horrible. I know the opponents aren't much but past years the student sections were always filled even against the cupcakes. Very disappointing showing so far.

I think Mick is doing a masterful job maneuvering us through this early slate. Not only are we winning by a ton without sacrificing defense...but the veterans aren't getting overworked, and the young guys are getting a TON of experience. I have no complaints about our rotation at this point.

It's really hard to complain right now. It's nice to be debating about how many minutes players should get rather than how we are playing or being coached.

Exactly. Bc last year, not only were we grinding out these early games, but we couldn't afford to rest anyone along the way. Honestly, if this was like last year, we may not even know how good a guy like Jenifer can be bc we flat out couldn't afford to let him play his way through some mistakes.

We went from grinding them out to having the best scoring margin in the nation for any team who has played at least 3 games. It's just hard to believe.

This team is definitely NOT Troy's team. If it is anyone's team, it is Farads at this point. As for as the Troy vs. Jenifer argument is concerned, before today's game, Jenifer is shooting a better percent from the field, better from 3 pt., better from the FT line and has a higher scoring average. The assist, rebound, and turnover averages are pretty close when considering Caupain has played 21 more minutes than Jenifer. Jenifer has had many great passes that his teammates didn't finish that has cost him a lot of assists.

I've never said that Jenifer should be starting right now and the rotations Mick has going are working, so why change at this point. But, Jenifer has held his own very well to this point. The quicker this program gets a true floor general running this offense, the better we'll be. To argue someone elses point, the reason we look more under control with Caupain is that he doesn't posess the passing creativity that Jenifer does, therefore, he doesn't try to make things happen, or just can't pull the trigger. Boring always looks more under control.

I don't like that kind of talk either. We're 10 deep, we have 4 seniors, and 2 other upperclassmen. It's weird to me when people want to give the team to one guy. Elite teams don't do that stuff. We could still win without any 1 individual player...and that's a GREAT thing.

Saying its Troys team in a completely unselfish kind of way. He's taking a back seat to get everyone involved, his +/- has got to be outrageous. When he's in the game they're better. Everyone's been great ao far this year, but when games are close he'll be on the court

I watched the +/- for a large portion of last year. Those who played a lot of minutes with the first team obviously looked a lot better.

As one example this year imagine if you are trying to get assists and you are either passing to Cobb or you are passing to KJ. Just because the shooting percentages are VASTLY different Cobb is going to make your assists go up as well as the +/-.

Jenifer is playing some great ball (mainly with the second team). I would like to see him get his turnovers down and his fouls down a little. Other than that I really can't complain. He's knocking down a good % of his shots, he's distributing, he gets the crowd jacked, his D is not bad, he's electric, etc.

I am not promoting Jenifer to starter...but he's going to be very important in some crucial situations this year.
