Not sure but it means that the championship game will be completely irrelevant in terms of seeding unless a non at large team wins...wish this conference would do something good for a change.

I like the Sunday game. More attention.
I think if we would have won, we would have gotten a 5 seed. Guess we will never know

You're right we won't know but it seemed evident the committee already had the seeds set before our game. It surely didn't help SMU.

It might have helped them. Maybe they were lower before that game. Who knows. They also didn't beat anyone except us. We had better wins
 
Pretty sure I remember the committee head stating the games outcome had no effect

I could be wrong but even if the game didn't matter, I don't think they would admit it. Would be a terrible PR move to say a championship game didn't matter

I thought they said they had 2 brackets ready for different outcomes of the game. That could be a lie but I thought I remembered them saying that
