Dwayne Polee for SDSU collapsed on the floor tonight. Very scary. They said he is responsive. Thoughts and prayers are with him.
 
Nebraska lost to Hawaii last night. Hawaii shot 37% from the floor and 4-18 from 3 and still beat them by 8.
 
Temple won @ UConn. They are looking good. Memphis is getting a little better. They beat Houston by 19 today.
 
Xavier tickets

Don't feel this warrants a new thread... but didn't they go on sale at 8:00AM today? It looks like most of the arena was already filled in at 8:01AM when I went to purchase today... so I was unable to secure anything but the @$$hole tickets in the far reaches of the Himalayas, forget that.

What's going on at the ticket office where that is possible?

Maybe to the general public. Season ticket holders have been able to purchase them since October.

Yeah my buddy works in the UC ticket office and I tried to get some Xavier tickets from him earlier and he couldn't even hook me up because I guess they are pretty strict about that sort of thing, which totally makes sense.

But I believe season ticket holders have been able to purchase additional for awhile, and they pushed the 5 game packs pretty hard which included Xavier as well.
 
Ucat members could purchase up to six seats. About a week and a half ago they announced they were lifting the six ticket limit to try and sell out before they went to the general public on the 5th. At the time of that announcement there was only upper level bleachers available. I was going to post something on here asking if people wanted me to get some tickets, but for one the seats weren't good and two I wasn't sure I wanted to have the headache of getting money from and getting tickets to people that I don't know. And honestly I kind of forgot too when I was actually on here posting. Hopefully no tickets went to x fans.
 
Yeah I have 2 season tickets and bought 6 more for this game; I'd imagine many did the same.
 
I know that nobody wants to see X win, but that was a good win for them last night, and will only improve our RPI and SOS in a month.

I'm okay with them winning, but only if we beat them so it looks good on our resume ;)

I'd rather them lose so hard all the time so they aren't even worth scheduling anymore.

I'll give you that. I generally do enjoy seeing them lose because I think long-term it benefits us if they suffer. Then they lose out on local recruits, lose on-the-fence fans to us, etc. I want UC to be the focal point of hoops in the city, not a split between XU.

But when they do win games, at least it enhances our schedule.
