UC has accepted a bid to the Belk Bowl. The opponent will be an ACC school.

I'm thinking we will play Virginia Tech. or Miami Fl.
BTW Notre Dame just accepted the Pinstripe Bowl. I would have rather had UC in that game, IMO. Sucks that Houston will get a better opponent than Cincinnati.
Notre Dame is certainly a bigger name and it would be nice to have the chance to beat BK, but I'm not so sure Notre Dame is a better opponent on the field than who we will face. Plus playing an outdoor game in NYC will be miserable in January and travel will be much more expensive for fans.
Notre Dame had been putting out stories that they wanted to play in a warm weather location and now the accept the Pinstripe? I'm thinking Kelly didn't want to play UC. It doesn't make sense otherwise, and they didn't announce this until after UC officially announced the Belk...
I remember when Notre Dame turned down bowl bids because 8-4 was a bad season. And yeah I can't magine he wants to face us, but there is a pecking order for these bowls and if the Pinstripe Bowl offered them then all the better bowls must've passed them up. Would be interesting to know if they would've accepted it had we gone there though.
Their record is very similar to Duke's last year.North Carolina it is. 6-6 (5-3) with no wins or losses that particularly stand out; started the year 0-4 but turned it around. I expect to beat this team. I will be there with 3 others, hoping for another great showing by the team and fans as we outmatch another North Carolina program in a North Carolina bowl game.

Yawn. Wish it was a bigger name, not another 6-6 team like Duke last year and Vanderbilt the year before.
The 5th best ACC team isn't going to be a big time team; sorry to bore you.
So it looks like the Belk Bowl starts at 3:20 EST on ESPN, and the UC/Nebraska bball game starts @ 4:00 EST on ESPN2. Gonna need PIP to watch both simultaneously
