Boise, SDST, Houston, SMU and UCF will all be announced as members of The Big East tomorrow.

Boise and SDST will be football members only. Air Force and Navy will join within the next couple of weeks.

Don't give me the lame it is the big EAST. SDST is on the WEST coast. I know this. It is just the name of the conference. Relax. Football travel is nothing with divisions.

What would you suggest they do? They had 5 or 6 teams if they didnt make a move. Given the circumstances. I like that move.

Exciting news IMO. Not the best possible outcome, but it is a pretty darn good one. And as far as conference naming goes let's remember that the Big 10 has 12 members and the Big 12 has 10. As TheGreatOne says, it's just a name.

Its conference usa 2.0. If the big east loses our aq or the bcs system ends, its pointless. Ucf is going on major probation, smu brings nothing, houston is ok, navy and air force bring nothing, sdsu hasn't had a winning season since 1998.

Basketball will be worse. When ul goes to big 12, the new ad needs to do everything in his power to get uc to go with them as a package deal/travel partner

This doesn't change the fact that the acc still wants to go to 16. Uconn, rutgers, and ul still all want out. When they go, were left in cusa part deux
