lol, this place has became so predictable. After beating a team that won 3 games in the ivy league last year, players are going to the league, offense is much better, defense is a beast, Cronin is the man, players have improved over last year, ect, ect.

Some of you guys are just priceless..

Speaking of predictable...

What else can we do? We played well and won with ease. I think people understand that Brown is bad. Doesn't mean we weren't impressive.

Realistically Brown was pretty bad defensively and undersized....but you take advantage of a team like that and that's exactly what we did. Had we struggled vs. a bad team the comments would be just as predictable. I'm rooting for this team to win and seeing new pieces and some highlights in the season opener was exactly what we could hope for. Game last night was fun. Looking forward to seeing how season progresses.

I like having multiple ball handlers out there too.
Actually Jake having Evans on the court is like having a third. He is very smooth and makes good decisions. Never seems to force things. Couple that with our bigs Kyle and Clark having 9 assists makes me really happy about our ball securing.

For sure

So you don't think Evans will go pro?

Jenifer would be serviceable if he could just guard the three point line. Seems like every time he comes in, the other team hits 2 or 3 in a row and it's usually his man making the shots.

jason JJ did a great job last night defensively. He was harassed their top ball handler into having a terrible night.

I've noticed that too. And we all noticed the fouls last year. I will say, the kid for Brown hit a really tough one on him last night on one of them.

Trevor Blackman was the Brown Pg and he was 2-13 from the field last night. Did JJ not guard him?

I don't know the players' names for Brown but Jenifer definitely gave up a few 3s and got yanked at one point. Overall though I agree with you that he was ok.

You have a much different opinion of great than I do. Go back and watch the film objectively and you will see that JJ didn't contest several threes. When he finally did contest a three, the guy was already in rhythm as a result of the open ones. That is why Mick pulled him in the first half.

Jason there is more to his defensive game then that. I was there he shadowed the Brown PG most of the night. He is a big reason they could not get in a rhythm most of the night. I also saw him get pulled for a late rotation but overall he played very well.

If you had watched Caupain's defense last night, you wouldn't even bring up Jennifer. Mick won't even let him near the opposing team's point guard. But then, he was probably still disinterested like he was in the scrimmage. Why else would he have turned the ball over 4 times?

No way Cronin plays Jennifer 27 minutes if he isn't playing defense. That's a proven fact.
