Pat Forde, Lance McAlister, @CBSBigEast, Sports Illustrated, and many others, have clarified on Twitter that this report is inaccurate, or at least premature. I'm not convinced that Woody Paige, who has been the Denver Post's mouthpiece on this issue, even knows where he is half the time. With Butch still in Charlotte, I'll wait to react until I hear it from the horse's mouth.

Seems like Colorado is getting a bit antsy too. Butch needs to make a choice, this is getting a bit ridiculous. I am more worried about UC being able to find a decent replacement with this time delay.

How do you know this about him? I have never heard of him before I saw Mo retweet his tweet. I am not saying he is or is not well connected, just wondering if you knew more about him?

I care only because I think UC will be in another conference next year and will either have a good shot at keeping Butch or be in a better position to make a good hire. That said, my patience is starting to wear thin. Butch needs to commit to UC today.

I am happy about him taking his name out of the CU mix but honestly he needs to say if he is committing to UC today. I am and I am sure a lot of other people are losing mass respect for the way his is stringing UC along. I understand you have to do what is best for you but if he wants to be different than a BK situation it is not fair to keep UC from exploring other options.
