I agree with you on this. We a be scary good if Davis, Mormon or KJ would've been able to contribute. If we want to make any noise in dance either OJ, Lawrence or Big Dave are gone to have Breakout games.

Who in the hell is OJ

Many commenting on here about the need for a third option offensively here is a comment from Mick that is very telling concerning ST.

“When he attacks the basket, he’s got to score or get fouled or make an assist,” Cronin said. “Hanging in the air and taking double-pump shots and coming up empty, those aren’t points. We’ve got to get a foul or a basket.”

Going to the rim strong is something ST really needs to focus on. Even if he draws a foul it means FT's and gets us to the bonus quicker and creates foul problems for opposition. ST needs to seek the contact like SK not try to avoid it.

Bring the thunder for us in Cincy!!

Count on it. Do it every year...and the hard booze they sell at the XL always helps. Couldn't agree more with the ST comments. Flashes of brilliance then goes into a shell. If he starts taking contact or just dunking on heads like he can, then the second weekend in the tourney looks a lot better.

Bearcats need this game bad. I'm struggling a bit with the pick but I'm going to say UC by 6. Don't know why but I think Jermaine Lawrence is going to have a good game.

Got to the Louisville game really early and watched them warm up. I closely watched lawrence as he was working on threes and deep twos, he was hitting them all looked real good. I want him to hit a shot early to get him confident and involved, he needs to be aggressive but smart it's hard for a guy that talented to figure his role and when to attach. I agree tho and think he this is the game he gives us 8 to 10pts which would be great.
Also I noticed morman is a great athlete kid can jump

I figured we would be underdogs. I wanna bet on this game but my heart and head won't cooperate. UC is too hard to bet on games like this.

Big game today. Every bit as important as the Louisville game. Cats need to win out. They have the talent and my expectation is that they will. Great teams find ways to win big games on the road.

No. 11 Cincinnati at UConn, 12 p.m. ET, ESPN:
There are heartbreakers. But Saturday’s loss to Louisville was something worse for Cincinnati. The Bearcats were at home in a sold-out arena and they had the victory locked, it seemed, until Russ Smith connected on a buzzer-beater. That matchup was also additional evidence about the significance of Sean Kilpatrick (9-for-26 overall, 3-for-14 from the 3-point line) to Mick Cronin’s offense. Connecticut is equally dependent on the offensive theatrics of Shabazz Napier, who went 5-for-19 in a 63-58 loss to Cincy in the first matchup this season. The second meeting will be another war, one that ends on a Napier buzzer-beater.

Prediction: UConn 65, Cincy 64

Oddly, I was thinking this morning that this game would end on a Sean Kilpatrick shot at the end for a UC victory. Solidifying once and for all SK's claim to POY in conference.
