For as "slow" as this game was and felt, it still had 76 possessions, which if they average that for the year is in the top 15 in pace of play...

We need some guys to figure out how they're going to help the team in bigger games. Can't wait to see how we come out tomorrow.

I switched to the radio. This feed is trash. Can't get it consistently on phone, iPad, or computer, on Wi-Fi or not. So bad. And when it does turn on, they're just reviewing something at the monitor or doing whatever else they can to destroy any flow in this game.

for what it's worth, the internet quality of my stream was solid and without issues through a roku all game.

the production quality, on the other hand - good ******* grief.

This was a team full of really athletic dudes. Not a bunch of skill. Just athletes. Those dudes will give Jarron Problems.

Bright side is; I think we just faced the team that would give us the most problems right away.

Unfortunately good teams have athletes who also have skill.

Just finished watching the replay. A few thoughts...

-Clark was in the zone from start to finish. Loved seeing him play aggressively on both ends of the floor. We likely don't win this game without him tonight.

-Massinburg on Buffalo was a baller. A one man wrecking crew. Doubt we face a player as good as him for the rest of the tournament.

-Wasn't a huge fan of Jenifer tonight. Don't know how he went the whole game without a turnover because he seemed physically outmatched on offense for much of the game. Hope to see much more of Broome tomorrow.

-While he caught some bad breaks throughout the game (questionable charges, "unlucky" turnovers) Cumberland was our second best player. His aggressive streak was appreciated when players like Evans and Washington struggle to really have an impact on the game like they did tonight.

Aside from a hot start from Buffalo and a shaky final 2 minutes, we were in control for the majority of the game despite not playing close to our best.

I think we bounce back with a much better all around performance tomorrow.

We shot 3.5x more Free Throws than 3 pointers. Thats a winning formula for the Bearcats

So this is the highest percentage of that metric so far this season and was easily our worst game. Just wondering how that's the "winning formula" for us.

We need to shoot way more than 10 3s in most games.

Yeah I'm not sure what the big deal with us shooting 3s is. It's not like we are jacking up shots we can't hit. While the 29 3s we were averaging in the first 3 games was a little much, we were still shooting efficiently at just above 38%, that's pretty dang good for a team especially one who isn't know for great outside shooting. We only took 10 today, still hit 40% once again. But in the one game we shoot a third of the 3s we've been averaging and it's clearly our worst game of the year. Sure you can say it was better competition, but that doesn't effect you taking and making open 3s. And even if you account for the boost of play by buffalo, this was still our worst game of the year. I love that we are working it inside, and that isn't something we ever want to get away from, but we also shouldn't be afraid to shoot from deep. There is a point to being a well balanced team, and you need to take advantage of that.

I think part of what we are seeing is Teams are going to try to frustrate us by slowing the game down and making us play at their pace. We are long on defense, have good athletes and lots of options. Exactly what we used to do when we were out manned. We will grow as the season progresses. New style and new PG's. I hope we are playing our best at NCAA time.

I was actually glad we got to see that kind of game planning. Need to be prepared for it. Lets learn form this and on to the next game.

A little worried about the lack of size/physicality from the point position. Last year, you could count on lock down D from KJ & significant boards from Troy

One thing I am interested to see as we move forward is who is going to be the leader. What I mean by that is, last year Troy gave me a sense of calm in tight games. I know he wasn't the flashiest, but he controlled the game and saw to it that we were in positions to win. Who will be that guy this year? Clark did a great job last night and I hope that the norm (I'd rather have no close games). However, right now, I worry against quality competition that if we get hit, we don't have that one guy to take the reigns and lead us.

Go Bearcats!

We were very sloppy with the ball last night, but I think the refs took us out of the game. There was no flow to the game because they blew their whistle every 2 minutes for a foul or some other nonsense. I don't think I have seen that many charges called in a college game before. Heck, one of them the Buffalo guy was standing in the restricted area. Hopefully tonight we take care of the ball and the refs don't take over the game.

Yeah I don't care how many 3s we take, as long as they are assisted and not forced.

Broome just has to be better. If he gets turned into a 12 minute a game player we are going to be in trouble.

Our extreme depth took a big hit when somebody smacked us in the face. Mick stuck with guys that have been here before.

I'd say that one was a reality check. Thank goodness we hit our FT's for once or we could have really damaged our season.

I was fine in the 1st half then my iPad just randomly would start the broadcast over after every few minutes and it'd take a minute to get back to the game. My phone was fine but it would skip back like 10 seconds every few minutes. I never have issues with that stuff so idk what was going on.
