CBJ to sign 6 year extension

Butch Jones has agreed to sign a 6 year extension to stay at UC according to reports. Huge win for UC Football and hopefully Butch was able to push the athletic department to spend more money to upgrade the program as well. I think the job Butch did from year one to year two was outstanding. His recruiting has been the best we've ever seen and I expect big things from him going forward. Congrats to Butch and UC Football fans everywhere.

I like it. It is sometimes hard to get really excited because these coaches leave after contracts all the time.

ya its really not that suprising with the state of college football. If he stays in cincinnati he can become the football version of huggins. why go somewhere where if he struggles first few years he might be fired. he may be dead serious about staying here for long haul maybe he knows we can compete forever and that he can get better contract every so many years. im an optamis but i think hell stay but you never can say never when an ohio state, ND, Michigan, type school comes callin. Was nice that he didnt even interview for NC Illinois or UCLA only time will tell
