Sweet picture above. The Arena was packed for that game. Too bad our student section can't show that spirit for every game.....and at a minimum, every BigEast game.

Agreed... the ultimate goal needs to be fans (students, alumni, everyone) coming out to see the 'Cats- regardless of who they're playing. Certainly a lot of people will stay away during the OOC this year because of who UC is playing. Two of the three biggest names (Oklahoma and Dayton) aren't at 5th/3rd which really hurts as well.

It appears as though UC has been bounced from the main FSN-OH channel (Time Warner Cable Ch. 43) and will be put on alternate channels so that FSN can cover a plethora of events this saturday.

Personally, I understand that the UC draw isn't near what it was 5 years ago right now but I still think it sucks and is a huge slap in the face when the local big time basketball program gets bounced for Big 12 Football that has nothing to do with this entire region.

And for what it's worth, I really miss the days of the Fox19 broadcasts.

God I hate Fox Sports OH. They do the absolute worst job of covering local sports that I have ever seen.

So, I have DirecTV and live in Columbus. I can't make it down to the basketball game and was going to watch it on TV. Since that article says it will be on an alternate channel and it lists them, what do I believe, the article or my guide? 661 on DirecTV is FSO-Cincinnati and my guide still shows a stupid ass Big 12 game being shown. Anybody have any insight? This pisses me off!

This same exact question was asked over at BCL... I believe in this instance you will find that the guide is in fact incorrect because the switch was made so recently. At least I hope so for your sake.

Yeah I hope so too. I am trying to make it down for the game on Monday night but there is no way I can make it for the game Saturday. Damnit it better be on the tube!!

Exactly. As long as my brother can get tickets I am going to drive down from Columbus, go to the game and turn around and drive back to Columbus. I don't know how many games I am going to be able to get to so I need to make every one count!
 
anybody know if the game will be on regular cable (non-digital) with Time Warner? I saw that it will not be on FS Ohio due to football and I havent heard about non-digital coverage.

I don't know. I still don't know if it is going to be on 661 on DirecTV because they still haven't updated the guide. It still lists the crappy Big 12 football game. Fox Sports Ohio sucks and the update information they put out is so freaking vague. No one knows what is going on.
 
Anyone have any clue??? I cant find it but im listening to it on 700. ANY HELP!!!!! Why are they covering the Football games on fox sports ohio and fox sports south, this is rediculous...

i dont have direct tv any thing on digital or no??? why the hell would they say its on fox sports ohio . what idiots i hate this shit, wish we could go back to the fox channel, my god what idiots.. no one wants to watch the same game on both channels. guess no game today. i hate this shit.......................... Then everyone has where you can watch streaming live video and i cant even find it there, really shows how big time They think UC still is. What a JOKE
