Cincinnati beats Campbell by 19 for the second straight November 20th. Hopefully we can keep them on the schedule on this day next year!

How about that baby hook? He actually has a really nice touch on it. As good as Mooj was last year at defending the low post with blocks etc...JJ has been just as good (so far) and he adds about 5 more points per game (so far). Even if we don't get a 5 point difference in conference...I think we have an upgrade. Not to mention his leadership is a HUGE improvement over Mooj. JJ is an example for any of our team on how to play with max effort.

He's diving....he's blocking...he's passing...he's scoring...he's rebounding...he's being a captain...he's leading by example. Mooj only had half of that. Stay healthy is all I can say...with a knock on wood to go with it.

Careful now, we don't know that scoring will keep up against tougher competition. It may be the lights gone on, it may be that this is an aberration. I like his staying out of foul trouble though, if he can stay on the floor we'll be a lot tougher. You do have to admit though, he's been putting it together this year. I certainly have been pleasantly surprised at the improvement in Rubles and Jackson.

I like this NC Central team, they are mid-major version of Cincinnati. They play very physically on defense and have a 1 good guard scorer...

The rotation seems to be set for better or worse. 9 man. Other than seeing what happens with Strickland we know that Mormon is definitely out. This means Nyarcuk and Davis are right now odd men out. That may change but I doubt it at this point.

I think Cronin is dedicated to see Lawrence before Nyarcuk and KJ before Davis at this point. I would have to trust Mick at this point about JDIII...and I am on board with JL over DN when JJ is out.

We passed up about 20 wide open 3's today for the penetration option. I like that..especially early in the season. Nice coaching job. I was thinking half the game...you are open jack it up...but they tried to break the lane instead.

I like all 9 guys who are getting significant minutes for one reason or another. I think we have found our identity and our BB team for the season. the only thing that would make this team better would be JDIII or DN coming out of the woodwork.

NC St goes down...I guess that doesn't really affect us since we beat both teams. Its obviously early so this doesn't define their season, but I was hoping NC St might be a top 50 win by the end of the year.

Naw, NC State will be about a 0.500 team, I would be surprised if they got to 20 wins. Certainly hope they'll get better...

I remember last year people were bashing Sanders for shooting 25% from 3. Johnson is 3-19 this season, and this is against mostly mid majors. He has more fouls than points and that is with 2 layups tonight. He did recover on Defense nicely and has quickness and plays decent d. He is basically the anti-JD3. On this team play defense or sit. Would have been nice to redshirt him rather than Morman.

Can the NCAA please let Strickland at least practice. During Ok State game last night it was mentioned that Dixon got eligible after transferring after having 2 allegations of sexual assault, used Dez Wells case as precedent. Guess that takes priority over looking if a kid didn't take the right English class.
