Great article! I know some people dislike Doyle but I think he does a pretty good job. He always has an interesting twist on a story.

Its funny, I actually work in the ER and we see things like this all the time. Here in Toronto our mayor Rob Ford (yes the crackhead) was diagnosed with a cancer that presented with abdominal pain. For the next two weeks I personally had about 20 people who came in scared that they had the same (none did, most were just indigestion). It was a very frustrating trying to talk people out of scans and radiation that wasn't necessary.
Anyways our healthcare systems are a bit different and its easier to get tests in the US than here (hospitals love charging for it in the states) but it really must be nice to be Cronin and know that by speaking about his experience it has helped others.
