If we keep adding the 6'5" to 6'8" wings with length/reach and skill we can play with a 6'0" PG no problem. It would be nice if the PG was a good defender I can agree but Mike will improve. Now if we also get a 6'5" PG that would be something for us to be able to go with position less BB 1-4. Not sure we are recruiting that PG at the moment though.
I am okay with 3 wings/forwards with one Big and one PG. Reed, Skillings and Griffith or Swain etc. Collier and Booker would be nice!! Trey Green is only 5'10" but I would take him too.
The problem is that MAW is already on the team as a PG and seems to have himself firmly established in front of Saunders. So unless MAW moves to SG next year, Saunders is going to be stuck behind him for possibly two more years (if MAW takes the Covid year).
Given that Skillings, McGinnis and Mason will all also be competing for SG minutes and MAW has thrived in the PG role, it seems like a safe bet to me that MAW will start at PG next year for us.
I'm good with positionless or one PG. Wes seems to be recruiting for 3 wings/forwards, one true big and one PG. Though he has offered some bigger than average PG's (and some smaller than average PG's)
