Winning league road games is never easy. Taking two guys who play in the neiborhood of 20 minutes a game is what will be lacking if they don't play

Waite, that is the politically correct answer. But c'mon. ECU is 3-12 in the AAC. Let's call it like it is...we should beat them with Jenifer, Johnson, Shaq, Moore, DeBerry and Tobler.

I would not be that confident, ecu plays tough sometimes and lost a couple games at the end and there record could be better....
We beat them by 15 at home with all our players so this sets up to be a win by 10 or less.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking UC to cover. Just saying that beating ECU isn't something Cincinnati fans should have to sweat out, no matter who is missing.

jale I hope none of our players read this. Lol! They won 3 games don't want to be the 4th. Good teams worry about every game.

Having a short bench and playing on the road is exactly the kind of game we should worry about. For one the referees can really play a part in this game if it is called tight.

Oh I think our players should be plenty worried/focused. They can't overlook ECU. But as fans, we shouldn't have to worry about this one.

Nah if jenifer gets extended minutes with shorter bench I say we easily blow them out. He go have offense flowing getting everybody easy baskets. Im calling this jenifer break out game

I want to get KJ evans and jenifer rolling anyway. We go need all guards playing above their level from here on out.

Farad and Shaq have given us virtually nothing the past several weeks, disappointing to see seniors go out like this. Hopefully they can get healthy for a post season run but I'm not optimistic either of them will be significant contributers here on out

Waite me and you could play each other for 10hrs straight. We wouldn't gain no skill from that marathon. We spend one hr working out with each other we've gained new skills and got stronger

If you can't beat east Carolina without Cobb or Shaq something lacking

True, but you never know. the Cats suck at away games, and ECU has done at least 3 things the Cats haven't bee able to; beat Temple, beat Tulsa and Memphis on the road. They have also lost to some really weak teams. given that this game is crucial & the Bearcats have had plenty of time to rest & prep etc. this should be a double digit win. You just can't count on this team...maybe the loss of Cobb will help them with their intensity as they know they are shorthanded....maybe fewer players will help them jell better on offense - I would expect ECU to try to deny the inside as no one can shoot reliably from outside...Clark isn't going to go out and bomb 3's, Jennifer? Caupain? Johnson? all sub 35% shooters. (go Quadri!...I jest). If somebody doesn't hit a few from long range, it could be a very ugly game.
First game, Ellis & Clark ate 'em up inside & KJ managed to hit 3 from outside the arc....Cobb was a total non-factor in the game so maybe they'll just follow the same script - maybe ECU is not capable of stopping the big boys inside.

I believe Ellis had 14 and 14 @ECU last year. Would love to keep getting good games from him.

That was also the game where Cobb had 10 in the first 4 minutes, then got benched for 10 minutes. Hopefully Evans, KJ, Caupain, and Clark can combine for 8 3s.
