Tubby loses assistants to P5, Fickell hires them away from P5. He's doing a hell of a job so far

If Fickell turns out to be a good hire - and I certainly like what we've seen so far, then I think the entire process with Tubs / Fickell has been handled well.

I also think he's done well with the 5/3 transition (so far) and working with FC Cincy regarding the changes to Nippert.

I personally could do with less derision regarding our AD unless his performance warrants it. I haven't seen much to support the negativity.

It's amazing what a little energy can do for a program. Coach Fickell is off to a great start. Makes me hate Tuberville even more.
 
I am starting to understand why people say they'd run through a wall for Coach Fickell. He is all in on the job. It's just something he was meant to do. Here's to hoping the success on the field comes along with it.

All the interviews and videos of him talking to the team are incredible. He shows passion and leadership, the perfect characteristics of a coach. Players believe in what he is doing. I love his motto of "BlindFaith" that coaches and players have been using.

I agree, Jacob. I am trying to go to the opener. I am a huge hoops fan, but I can't get enough of the LF threads.

I heard he wrote a letter to former players that they will be proud of their team. He may have saw another coach do that ( not sure), but I still love it.
 
Former Purdue interim head coach Gerad Parker will be the new running backs coach. Yet another coach with power 5 experience joins Luke Fickell's coaching staff.
 
FOOTBALL STAFF

There are a number of positions on any major university football staff. UC has filled maybe 6 or 7 spots, with many position coaches yet to be named. What has been named and what positions still need to be filled?
