I saw on Twitter that SK signed with Golden State. I don't know who reported it or what the details are. If someone finds them before me, please post. Thanks!

Love to hear that! But what are his chances of making the 15 man roster?

Considering it's in the middle of training camp and he is coming off knee surgery, probably pretty low. I hope he makes it but I expect that he will start off in the D League.

If he is going to play shooting guard I don't see him making the roster. They have lots of numbers there. I haven't read about GS having any injuries.

Great news...even if he doesn't make the roster. This gives him the chance to showcase his ability for other NBA teams.

Yeah, I believe any team can claim a D-League player regardless of who they are affiliated with. I think it works like the NFL practice squads where the original team gets right of first refusal, kind of like how a restricted free agent works.

#bearcats Sean Kilpatrick signed a "partially guaranteed" contract with the Golden State Warriors today.@ENQSports

I don't think any of us ever saw even a remote chance that SK would ever be a 1st Team All-American. With him, it's about work ethic and willpower. I saw no chance that he would ever play in the NBA, yet here he is taking that fist step. The guy keeps proving everyone wrong. He's just one of those special players that will make it happen eventually. I'm not going to doubt him anymore.

I agree. I think he will achieve success at some point in the league but I will be surprised if he makes it out of camp on the roster as it stands right now.

I agree as well. It wasn't until he started dropping 20 a night last January or so that I began to think there was a chance he would get any serious consideration. I will say I really thought if the Bearcats would have made a nice run in March, obviously led by him, that it might have been enough to get him drafted. Not necessarily a final four run, but making it to the conference finals and out of the first weekend. Unfortunately when all eyes were watching the Bearcats stumbled. Nonetheless he does keep proving people wrong, playing as well as he did in the summer league and getting this contract, whatever the terms are.

GS is playing on TNT against the Clippers right now. I don't know if SK will get any PT in this game though. There are 7 SGs on the roster right now and somehow, Golden State still has 20 players on it's roster. There aren't even enough seats for all the players so some of them are sitting on the floor by the baseline.

Can't say I'm surprised that he didn't get any playing time. I think he came in a little to late to give himself a real shot.

SK has really been struggling. Last 3 games he is 4-11, 4-17, and 3-13 from the floor. 5-22 on 3s with an 0-7 game. Only 3 total free throw attempts. He did have 3 reb 3 stl 5 ast in one game and 5 reb 5 ast in another. He i s averaging 11.6 ppg in 22.3 mpg.

He only graduated UC in body, but not in mind it appears :)

Is this in the d-league I assume?
