SK has really been struggling. Last 3 games he is 4-11, 4-17, and 3-13 from the floor. 5-22 on 3s with an 0-7 game. Only 3 total free throw attempts. He did have 3 reb 3 stl 5 ast in one game and 5 reb 5 ast in another. He i s averaging 11.6 ppg in 22.3 mpg.

If you look through his game logs through out his career, these stats arent really surprising. He took a lot of bad shots, granted that was mostly due to noone else being able to do anything and having no inside game. But I just cant ever see him being an NBA guy

Did you see him being a 1st Team All American?

Did you see him being a 1st Team All American?

Yes, but if you are trying to say he never took bad shots idk what games you were watching. Like I said, it was partly due to the team not having any inside game and noone else to put the ball in the basket, but that still doesnt mean he didnt take bad shots. And being a 1st team all american doesnt mean he will have success at the next level. That would be like saying, did you see tebow win the Heisman? hes going to dominate the NFL

He knew at the college level he could get to the line almost at will. NBA and apparently D league doesnt work like that. He was also one of the oldest college basketball players, now he doesnt have that advantage going for him

Im not trying to take away his great career here, but again, a great high school career doesnt mean great college career. And great college career doesnt mean great pro career. I dont think he is an NBA player. I think a large majority of this fan base has believed he will be an NBA star and given him expectations that they are going to be very disappointed dont happen

SK has been a little better lately. Had 19 points last game and 17 points 8 boards 5 ast the game before that. He's still just below 40% FG and 30% from 3 though. 11.7 ppg overall through 19 games.

Can you find any of his highlights from the D-league? I have been unsuccessful.

Highlights: Justin Jackson (25 points) vs. the D-…: http://youtu.be/7VaeX-EhFXc

Here's some recent Justin Jackson highlights. I miss him!

Wow Jackson is going off. Last game he had 12 pts 11 reb 8 blk 2 stl. Last 4 games he is 28-41 FG (68%) 15.3 ppg 11 rpg 5.3 bpg. 67% FG on the year. He h as played 9 games to SK's 19. 7.0 ppg on the year (he has had 3 games with 0 pts and under 15 minutes played). Good for him.

LMFAO those announcers are hilarious.

@Dan_Hoard
Excited for @SeanKilpatrick_ as he goes from Golden State's D-league team to Philly's. Sixers are 8-33. NBA opportunity could come quickly

Maxiell has 11 pts 7 rebs 6 blk through 3 quarters tonight. Can't remember the last time he's had a game like this.

Anyone know why Lawrence hasn't played the last 2 games?

Also, JD3 is playing well. He had 12 pts 5 reb 3 ast 4 stl the other day. Up to 7.4 ppg 2.8 asst 2.9 reb 1.7 stl. His shooting % isn't great but he's getting 28 minutes per game. Ball State is just 7-15 this year, but still good to see him out there doing well.

I'm sure some of you heard on the broadcast the other night, SK had a 10-14 game with 27 pts 7 ast 5 reb. He's been over 20 in 3 of the last 5 games. He's getting it going a little. 35-67 (52.2%) last 6 games.

Jermaine Lawrence playing on ESPNU. Ellis, Clark, Lawrence, Evans, Caupain would've looked nice as starting 5

Lawrence is never going to be a 3. If that's what he thinks he is, he will never be a successful college player. He isn't putting up any better numbers than last season, and he is facing weaker competition. I wish him the best, but we do not and will not miss his on-court contributions.

He looked a little better last night and started again. 6 pts, had a steal and block and made both of his FT. Also missed a huge dunk attempt...I think he was motivated by all the All-Star festivities in NY this weekend.

Lawrence has a 36FG% and shoots 15% from 3. With his two makes he is now shooting 51% from the line. And he already has more turnovers than he did all of last year. Oh and he has 2 assists in 222 minutes this season. Do we miss him?

Mick had a plan for Lawrence and it didn't involve him playing the 3. He was going to add weight, muscle and use his atheletism to create mismatches at the 4. JL and his handlers saw his skill set in a different light. It's more then obvious on his results that Mick was right. The shame is the kid listened to the wrong people. With hard work in weight room as well as on the court his best chance to make the League was at Cincinnati. He is being played at the 3 at Manhatton and the results speak for themselves. If he added 25lbs his agility and ball skills would have eventually caused problems for less athletic bigs he would have been facing.
